This is Ryan's way of saying "Fuck You" back to all of us.

That's a nice subtle UX touch, but what if you only watched say 90% percent of a video?

It's not a very nice typeface, but I think most people don't really hate the face itself as much as the ways it's been misused for years. It's one of those fonts you don't really think of using when designing, but really it was pretty well made for the time period it was created in and the use it was meant for.

Fallout 3, Saints Row: The Third, Mass Effect all come to mind. I'll also add these two gems no one has mentioned yet:

I don't know if you can really even divide it into just old stuff vs. new stuff. Most modern country is radio trash and I find its sound is completely horrible, but there are people out there who actually do make quality country music right now. I was pretty big into Ryan Bingham recently. I don't like his new album much, but the first few he put out are a good example of someone doing country the right way.

Hank Williams, Johhny Cash, and Townes Van Zandt are really the only older country artists I care about. A lot of stuff influenced by country is some of my favourite music, like Neil Young, Fleetwood Mac and The Band. I think country has so many good qualities that really shine when they're done right, but the stuff on the radio and tv has really smeared its name.

Lots of good suggestions in here, but I'd add The Killing to the list. I know there's a lot of people who don't seem to like it but I think it's fantastic. Season 3 has blown me away so far. Peter Sarsgaard just fucking kills it in every scene.

Other than that you can't go wrong with Mad Men, Justified, House of Cards, Homeland, or Curb Your Enthusiasm. oh and:

Day one free games for PS Plus is pretty amazing. I still don't really want to subscribe, but they're doing a great job of making it appealing.

Like everyone else I'm having a hard time expressing the intense effect this has had on me. Knowing I'll never hear Ryan introduce the bombcast again, or see him sitting in his big comfy chair during live streams is a horrible, empty feeling. My thoughts are with Ryan's friends and family, everyone at Giant Bomb, and all of you duders who are hurting too. The game industry, hell the fucking world, is a far less entertaining and happy place now.

My favourite memory of Ryan is from PAX East 2012 when, after the Giant Bomb panel, Ryan fucking bolted for the bathroom after holding it in throughout the show. As we were filing out of the hall I saw the crowd in front of me part and the next thing I know there's Ryan, sweating like crazy, just having did his business, having to squeeze himself through everyone to get back to the theatre. Some dude held out his hand and yelled "High Five!" and Ryan just responded with a grin and a "Nope!" Even when he was in a hurry he had time to give you shit, and it was always hilarious.

I'll miss you big guy.
