@mittens: I do, too, but I would love for him to release it on something other than PC. I know he’s a former PC Gamer editor and stuff, but there’s no reason with this one!
@youngshields: people think THIS was negative. I honestly had to stop with Waypoint because I'm not convinced they'll like anything but a Rob war game or Citizen Sleeper-type stuff (which I love). And the Brad factor at Nextlander is, well, it was a bummer here and it's a bummer there, and often Vinny and Alex get in on the action. Their podcast can be a slog for that reason, though I love their videos where they're goofing around. This is my long-winded way of saying I got pretty hyped for Starfield and was bummed that everyone else seemed to have knives out for it.
And is your name a reference to Casiotone for the Painfully Alone?! Used to be a client of mine and a great band.
@ben_h: Loved that Spider-Train! It's almost like having the actual game developers at places like Double Fine curating the show means less corporate junk and energy drink shilling (no offense, Rock) (well maybe some offense).
@mistercoke: this is the kind of life-affirming comment I needed. I feel like I've been hooked on crazy pills as Discord has come to dominate communication and discourse around video games. It's too overwhelming and it bums me out. I am *kinda* old but I'm actually a technology professor! Haha. I should LOVE it, and I feel nothing but resentment and animus toward it, especially now that it's considered a carrot on a stick.
