Nope. There are always outliers in terms of how graphic the violence is, but the majority of games aren't too violent. You can say the same thing for films.

"Miyazaki: Although as far as the game is concerned I think we could have done a little more with the character. He's the last boss and the concept of the character was to have the player use all the skills they'd developed through the game. I wanted them to have to use everything they've learned in order to beat him. The reason that he uses such a simple single sword fighting style stems from this concept, but in the end we ended up taking a different direction.

Waragai: Parry, parry, parry. Haha"

Fortunately the "Gwyn" style of boss was fixed by Artorias and he was great.

Artorias was my favorite boss fight of the game. Nothing too flashy or ridiculous, no tricks or anything, just straight up sword combat. Really fun, as long as you're playing as a melee-focused character. I fought him with a pure mage build I had and crystal soul spear was easy mode.

Lots of great games this year that I didn't even get to play, but this is what I came up with.

I'm actually curious if anyone has played ME1 on PS3. Does anyone know if they've managed to fix the god awful frame dropping from the 360 version? I love the game dearly, but it ran at slideshow speeds on 360 at certain points.

I've heard rumors that Idris Elba would be the next Bond which would be quite a bold move.

Got to admit, that would be awesome and completely unexpected. Was a huge fan of his work on Luther.

Because anyone willing to be critical of Fox News in any capacity already know they deliver far more propaganda than actual news. Those that are not willing will not have their minds changed by this.

Pretty much this. Anyone who didn't already know that Fox News is basically a wing of the Republican party at this point isn't going to be convinced by anything.

I actually wouldn't agree with that. Fox News does not have the interest of the Republican Party in mind, just conservative ideologues. The same ideological purity those conservatives preach does arguably more harm to the party than good.

Considering how many prominent members of the GOP party have been at one point or are currently employed by Fox News in some capacity, I'd disagree. The way I see it, it's more like Fox News has hijacked the GOP more than the GOP has hijacked Fox News.

Pretty much this. Anyone who didn't already know that Fox News is basically a wing of the Republican party at this point isn't going to be convinced by anything. They don't even want to be convinced, they already know that Fox is a shill for the GOP and they watch Fox News because it mirrors their viewpoint. People naturally want to watch things that they agree with, not that challenge what they think they know about the world.

Great news for them. It's a really solid soundtrack and it's wonderful that Wintory is being recognized for his work.
