I'm so excited for Tokyo Mirage Sessions! I don't know why. I got halfway through Fire Emblem Awakening and that's been my experience with that. It may be the art style, or just my hankering for something to dive into on the Wii U. We're only 3 weeks away!
My ideal brand split would be: Completely separate shows (from what I heard, for real, each show will have their own set of writers which is good), separate Heavyweight Titles, US Title on one and Intercontinental Title on the other show, and then have all the women on one show and tag teams on another. That way you know what you're getting for each show and will most likely make people want to watch both shows. And the less jumping around the wrestlers do, the better.
I am in the boat where I watch Raw on Hulu, so it's only 90 minutes of my time. So adding 2 more hours a week for SmackDown isn't as big of a deal for me.
Oh man, and hearing Alex talk about the rumor that McMahon doesn't like Mauro Ranallo's announcing makes me worry. We finally get a JR-like announcer back in WWE, one who knows and calls actual moves during the match and doesn't talk about random bullshit while a good match is happening and Vince doesn't like it. I hope that's not true. *fingers crossed*
I LOVED the first Lost Planet! I finished the campaign and played A LOT of the multiplayer. It's one of the games I hold dear. LP2 was OK at best. I have LP3 still shrink-wrapped on my shelf.
This was great! Out of everything that Cowboy talked about, the most fascinating part was when Brad was talking about the boat flipping in Uncharted 3 and said (paraphrasing) "so you just made another map where the floor was the wall or ceiling?" Then Cowboy chuckled and said, "no." I thought the same thing Brad said.
Hearing about all this technical stuff and how difficult it is to do simple things in video games was eye-opening. I hope to see something like this in the future!
@blannir: Turtles in Time, released in '91 is a classic, I can't recall the name but one of the GameBoy games was really fun, Tournament Fighters (pretty much a SFII rip-off) was enjoyable, the Ubisoft TMNT game from '07 was decent. Everything since has been bad, especially Out of the Shadows in '13, but that was an Activision game, so what do you expect?
This is easily my most disappointing game of 2016. Now I understand how Sonic fans feel. You grow up with a franchise that used to be great, and then, over the last decade, the games for said franchise have been garbage. I need to tell myself that TMNT is dead (in terms of games and movies), the Nickelodeon show isn't half bad.
Welp. It seems this will be our new reality. Personally I won't be buying anymore Sony or MS consoles. I feel I can be content with just a Nintendo console and play everything else on my PC.
