In 1975, my dad read aloud to the family a newspaper article about video games and how they were going to revolutionize home entertainment. I have to hand it to my father, he was always into the latest technological gadgets and it doesn't surprise me the article caught his eye and he was so eager to share by reading the article aloud. Sadly, he died a year later and wasn't alive to see me to play on an Atari 2600 a few years later.

BRAVIA XR A90K 4K HDR OLED TV with smart Google TV (2022)

I've been looking for a high end TV that is less than 50 inches and I found it!

What can I say? I don't like gaming on really big TVs, but I wanted HDR/120 HZ support.

In truth, I may not pull the trigger on this bad boy if it doesn't support ATSC 3.0 ( haven't been able to find out since it's not for sale yet ) or I'll wait a few years until it does.

A few years ago, I was browsing a message board about the FF13 trilogy and people were joking that somebody at SE must have had an unhealthy obsession with the Lightning character because FF13 had not 1 but 2 sequels. Could be true if you think about it. Hell, 7 didn't get a remake until 20 years later, and FF12 argueably one of the best FF didn't get any.

I understand why they won't release brand new games to the premium service, but Sony should strongly consider adding first run games to the premium service several months after release. I would probably sign up for their highest tier if they did that, cause frankly, I usually wait several weeks before buying a new game anyway.

Most video games are violent at their core with the exception of, I suppose, puzzle games, racing games and aircraft/truck simulators. I'd rather people knock skulls to get their frustations out in the virtual world than in the real one thank you very much.

PC gamer review said that it was fine over all but it was essentially another souls game. If true, I don't really have a problem with that although some no doubt will.

Funny, one of my criticisims of HZD: Fobbiden West is that it's more of the same yet I don't have a problem with playing yet another souls game. To each their own, I guess.

I watched the live Bombcast this week and last. I enjoyed both podcasts immensely. They're not always fun to listen to, but on the whole they are.

That's all that matter to me and I'll continue to subscribe for that reason alone.

I like all XC games and I'm looking forward to XC3, but my favorite is the DLC for XC2, Torna: The Golden Country. I thought it was a better story than the one from main XC2.

I realize a lot of folks take issue with the hypersexualization of female characters in this game and with good reason and I never understood if there was an explanation in the story why the female characters are portrayed that way. Sex sells? It could be as simple as that. Can you imagine the hell Guerilla games would go through if they portrayed Aloy in the same way as Pyra? Admittedly, it's a different audience.

Ah hell, I'll wait a year to 18 months, and get the game on PS Plus. $70 is steep and I'm in no hurry.

Can you make for an interesting ME: Andromeda stream? All I remember from that game was one fetch quest after another.
