Maybe not quite what you're after, but u/LeggyBoy over on the subreddit has been curating a list of all the nominated games in top 10 lists! Very neat.
No Hitmas is very disappointing. The GOTY content this year is largely disappointing and comes across as a little lazy in all honesty.
Maybe let's wait until all the content this year has actually been posted, before declaring it as lazy? Legitimately curious, what strikes this year's content as "lazy" or 'Disappointing' to you? As with every year, I'm thoroughly enjoying watching the content. Trying a new format with the discussions (which was needed!), plenty of guest articles to read through and hours of video content; especially with Abby and Ben continuing to be a great addition to the site - especially so with the new 'create-a-sim' feature.
They are in a tricky situation I'm sure, between stuck doing 'old favorites' such as hitmas and winter games while keeping them fresh and entertaining; or trying something new and have everyone complaining they didn't do X feature. Personally, I think it's as good as ever.
Hitmas is dropping today, according to the 'upcoming' table; btw.
So I think I read somewhere that it's actually has to do with it being installed on the ssd. Haven't tested it out myself and kinda don't want to. I rather have faster load times.
Hope it will be fixed quickly...
I'd stick with the faster load times! Have it installed on my HDD and running into the exact same problems.
I would miss reading the item descriptions if it loaded too fast.....
Yeah, sometimes I prefer to just read a wiki and get the 'hard facts' (whatever those are in the DS universe) but his blend of production values and his own personal take on characters/situations really hits home. Good stuff.
PC! I've been playing all the souls on console up until now, and wow - 2560x1440 running at 60fps is breathtaking and well worth going all in on a daft video card.
Make sure and leave your summoning sign at bonfires!
I spent about 2 hours or so in jolly co-operations clearing out the high wall and surrounding areas, helping people defeat that first boss - was blast! Good luck to whoever that sorcerer was, looked tough.
I was a big fan of his at GameInformer after watching their legendary Overblood Super Replay (Tale of the Sun also being a personal favourite. Damn Joe Juba murdering Ric Flair) One day earlier in the year I noticed I hadn't seen Dan on anything in a while and gleaned from his profile that he had moved over here, a site I knew existed but knew nothing about except that the Kane and Lynch dude worked here now.
A few Quick Looks and Ep. 1 of MGScanlon later I went premium.
Exactly this. I'll stand by the Overblood 2 Super Replay is some of the finest 'Watch people play a dumb video game' content on the internet today.
