I have felt for a while that the Premium content trailer needs to be more modern. Do you think we can get the Lana Del Ray vocaloid to do a slow, sorrowful, and 'haunting' rendition of Lockdown?
@gregalor: No, he literally answered your question. Guess I will answer it again. This was a live stream recorded when people were watching and is a series that doesn't follow a fixed schedule. Shenmue was recorded in bulk. By the time episode one went up, the entire thing was taped. It was made to be put up daily. It's a production thing and the exact opposite of arbitrary.
Plus, it is a no one situation. When they don't look at chat or respond to it then people will complain about that. It seems hard to strike a balance.
@artisanbreads: Nope, there's tons of substantial events & side-quests that you easily miss if you don't explore. Nozomi getting attacked in the park, Delinquent girls at the lunch stand, Fight by the construction yard, etc.
The criticisms that they aren't exploring enough are completely valid. Especially after the last episode where they did nothing for nearly an hour.
You know you can....stop watching, right?
This is, quite honestly, the weakest counterargument. Nothing improves and no discussion happens if the people who have criticisms just don't participate. You're basically saying "please let this be an echo chamber because I don't like the opposing sides."
So please, either let the naysayers say nay, or respond to them with something of merit instead of some passive aggressive dismissal.
I usually agree with this line of thinking and generally dislike the "just stop watching it" comments, but I do want to point out that the comments are made up of the same criticisms every single day by the same four or five people. Some people, like that gregalor guy, are pretty nice about it, but it does reach a point where you think "this is obvious what this is by this point, why are you guys still watching it?" It just gets annoying from those of us who like this and want to just discuss our enjoyment instead of reading the same comments over and over, which I might add, are often passive aggressive as the "stop watching it" comments.
"My issue isn't with being Ms. Clause. I'm comfortable with that. I just don't think it is a very good way to smuggle cocaine." That may have been the greatest thing ever said on this website.
