@shtinky: I think they're referring to the articles from a few months prior that hinted at Sony investing its focus into big blockbuster titles and aren't willing to take as much risk considering development costs. I think? In general it seemed like a classic internet-case of everyone overreacting.
FWIW, I'm a few hours into this game and I'm enjoying it quite a bit. A linear, single-player game is a breath of fresh air and the writing and voice acting are surprisingly good. I'm about to watch the QL and see what all the fuss is about. It's a shame if the crew is overly negative on it.
The combat is getting a bit better now that enemies have elemental weaknesses and I am getting more comfortable with the controls and squad commands. It's not mind-blowing, but it's good enough to pass the time until the next cutscene.
EDIT: And I suppose it's worth noting that I'm not a huge MCU fan. Not sure if that helps or hurts my reason for enjoying this game.
Has Dan never been swimming in the ocean before? I guess I just take for granted the fact that I always lived in a coastal state, so ocean swimming isn't a foreign concept to me.
I am very interested in some of the games shown at the event (Spider-man, Wolverine, KOTOR, and God of War) but it's also hard to get too hyped up when the majority of them were cinematic trailers for games that are seemingly years away.
