Games Played in 2014 0
Here it is, the list for 2014.
-
PS4/Xbox One new generation games played/beat 0
Here is the list of next gen (current gen?) stuff I've played and beat, to keep myself honest so I don't buy a billion games I never finish.
-
Games Played in 2013 0
Yup, the list returns, this time with more 2013. I got married this year so the time I'd normally have was way limited as the wedding got closer.
-
Games beaten in 2012 0
Games I officially beat in 2012. This includes story mode, clearing achievements, or going back to play through DLC.
-
Games played in 2012 0
These are all of the games I've played in 2012. This will include games I'm cleaning up achievements for, games I've borrowed, games I've abandoned without beating, everything. Click here for the Games Beaten list.
-
Games beaten in 2011 0
Yup, games I have cleared out the single-player or gotten all the achievements for in 2011. I can only purchase a new game once I have beaten 2... (Though I already broke that rule to get both Portal 2 and Mortal Kombat, but can you blame me?)
-
Shame List 2010 and beyond 0
These are all the games I really need to go back and finish at some point. I've had this list since 2010 and it has changed only slightly. :(

This Site is Awesome, And These Pages Prove It 20
A list of pages that are either filled out really well or are so weird that it's amazing that they actually exist.

Jeff's All-Time Favorites 95
They're not always the best games. They're just my favorite for one reason or another. This list isn't in any particular order and I'm going to go for the more obscure stuff first, since no one needs to see a list that says "OH MAN SUPER MARIO WORLD

Obscure Fighting Games That Are Worth Some Attention 22
The mid-1990s were a pretty special time in gaming. The PlayStation was everywhere, and mod chips were becoming common. This opened me up to a world of crazy-ass import games. Since I happened to have something of a budget that I could put toward acq

Games I Will Accept As Your Answer to the Question "What Is The Greatest Game Ever Made?" 212
Different people with different upbringings in different eras mean that everyone's going to have a different answer to the question.  For the record, when people ask me, I usually say Tetris. It's certainly not my favorite game of all-time, but if yo

Characters I Would Recruit For My World-Class Fighting Force 36
If I needed to start a world-class force of fighters--you know, men and women who needed to be on-call at all times, ready to fight terror wherever it may rear its nefarious head--these would be the guys at the top of my list.
-
Good Licensed Games 42
I should note that I mean licensed in the traditional sense of taking characters or stories from other mediums and bringing them to games. I don't mean sports games like Madden or Tony Hawk, even though both are technically licensed products.
-
Pile of Shame 32
One of the (relative) downsides of covering games for a living is only having a finite amount of time to play games, and often having to play a bunch of games you'd rather not mess with. A consequence of this responsibility is lacking the time to pla

Games that caused me physical pain 2
Here are some games that I played so much of in single stretches, that my hands started hurting, but I kept playing anyway.

Bad Games That I Can't Help But Like... Or At Least Remember Somewhat Fondly 20
Or, if you want to be all technical about it, "guilty pleasures."Â Â And yeah, "bad" is probably a strong term. Some of these games are merely middling. But at some point I don't want a huge title for the list.
-
The Forgotten Bros. 2
We all know that Mario and Luigi are the most famous bros in gaming history. But there are some other digital brethren that have been shivering in the long, cold shadow cast by the Italian duo...

Embarrassing! 18
These are the sorts of games that, if they were to come up while arguing with someone who didn't like games, you'd just have to shrug your shoulders and say "yeah, well... yeah."

Collection 0
This isn't really my entire collection. I just randomly add games to it every now and then.
-
Formative Titles 7
Every game enthusiast has a core group of titles that aren't just great to play, but they define them as a 'gamer'. These touchstones have had such an influence on that person's playing habits that they can't even conceive of their life without havin

Best of 2009 0
I mostly spent 2009 catching up on the great games of 2008. You could actually call this list "the games of 2009 that I managed to play in 2009." Note that I didn't start Arkham Asylum until 2010 so I couldn't put it on the list.

NINJAS! 5
Ninjas were pretty big business when I was a kid. Of course, they've never really disappeared. I mean, I know it's their job to disappear, but I'm saying they've always been around in popular culture in one form or another. You with me? Cool. When

I've gathered a lot of cartridges for a lot of different systems over the years, and the ones that I cherish the most plug into Sega's 16-bit wonder. Maybe it's because the games they contain made such a mark on my teenage years, or maybe it's the fa

C64 Games with Awesome Music 9
The Commodore 64 was the first computer I ever owned, and as such it holds a very special place in my heart. It's due partly to the quality of software on the machine, and partly to the great music found within some of these titles. Some of the game
