Been a fan of this podcast since "how to build a bomb". ep 0. Looking forward to more good times to come. Congratulations to everyone who's ever been involved with this crazy endeavor!
@fawkes: not how I remember my 5 playthroughs. I found tank controls unplayable and loved re4. my wife also wouldn’t have been able to hack the tank controls and she’s played through the game almost as much as I have.. as I said, they weren’t modern controls where you controlled the camera with the other stick but the movement was definitely NOT the tank controls of RE1&2..
Tank controls of the original RE1 & 2 would have you push left and right to rotate your character left and right and then forward to move forward. (terrible imo) You could not move to the left or right. In RE4 you could move with the analog stick in any direction. But the difference to modern shooter controls is that you didn't control the camera with the other stick. When you aimed your gun then you you used the other stick to move the camera and your character was rooted to the spot. This was a huge upgrade to the way the series had been handling character movement at the time and is a big part of why the series is so beloved. I'm looking forward to playing the remake with modern controls though. I've played through RE4 about 5 times on about 4 different platforms and I can't wait to find out "What I'll be buyin" in this new version.

Multiple browsers and no luck.. I've had the problem for weeks as well. I've submitted a help ticket, but with the recent shakeups I don't have much confidence in a (swift) resolution.. No shade towards the employees.. massive stink eye at the corp overlords...
does the archived video work for anyone?? I keep having to go to Twitch to watch the bombcast (well any archived video really) and I'm suspicious that's it's what the corp overlords want..
Horizon Forbidden West. Rogue Legacy 2. Bad corporate mismanagement. Sounds like we had a similar year! Although I played the heck out of Vampire Survivors since the DLC came out.. May your new year be just as rich in culture and better on the work end of things.
I wish I was as cool as Jan. I wish I had the kind of time to play games like Xenoblade and Marvel Snap without destroying my everything-life balance... ah well at least I can live vicariously through cool people on the internet... (looks nervously at the 130 hours on vampire survivors and kicks that stat under the table...)
