This was a nice gesture. Not many sites would bother to post a message when an intern leaves. I assume it's an intern, I only skim read it and didn't see a name.
I can only imagine the quality of the post when someone like a founder leaves.

It seems like a really old fashioned approach to me, a bullish almost romantic view that you are doing the world a better service by working beyond tired and pushing yourself to the limit.
I've had to work long hours for a few jobs and felt guilty when I quite clearly needed a break. But the fact is 3 days at 100% and 2 days at 0% are considerably ore productive than 5 days at 25%...
But then I'd imagine some would say "it's not about how productive you are solider, it's about going to the limit!!!"
