Why is everyone so angry about this article? Everyone in the comments is either saying that the PSP has no good games, or that paying extra for a digital copy is a great deal. The PSP has a large number of very high quality games. Forcing consumers to pay extra for digital copies is always pure bullshit. And all the people who are saying that they will hold onto their original psp to play umds are batshit insane. So you're going to carry around 2 devices in your pocket to play the games you already own? Don't buy into the corporate mentality that you don't have a right to the intellectual property you paid for. It is LEGAL to make one backup of nearly any piece of intellectual property you own for personal use. Companies have managed to bend the law to suck every last drop of value out of anything by applying encryption and getting government to pass legislation making it illegal to break those encryptions. You have a right to the content you paid for, but I guess Sony has the right idea, since you fucking fanboys are either preemptively declaring Vita as garbage or salivating at the chance to slurp up some anti-consumer bullshit.
