I've only bought stuff over the last two days because I wasn't able to get access to my money in time for the first batch of deals. I was looking forward to picking up the GTA pack, Dear Esther and a bunch of others, and am really (mildly) annoyed that I missed out on them. I figured they'd do a "best of" sale for the last day (could have sworn they did in past sales) but no such luck, unless there's a surprise final final day of the sales tomorrow. I actually favour having all my stuff on Steam now. I already own GTA IV on disc somewhere, but it's too much of a hassle to dig it out and install.

Because it's a poor title. Out of spite, and to prove a point, I RUSHED through some of the last areas in the game with relative ease by spamming EMP and normal grenades and being as non-stealthy as possible. It was a poor game with a poor story, poor dialogue, and poor gameplay.

Man. Why does the Birdman himself love it so much, seeing as everyone I hear talk about it says how crap it is?

I have no idea by the way, I don't have the new game.

@Lazyaza: I'm hoping this rings true for DCS A-10C. It's €20 now, which isn't bad, but I'd be taking a gamble on it.

I'm playing the free PC version, and the ghost has never been an issue. I tend to start from the very beginning, rather than taking shortcuts (to amass more items and gold), and even when I'm trying to collect as much stuff as I can I rarely hit the time limit.

All concept art, all promises of what they hope the game "will" be, no game footage, the website they point you to has barely been in existence for a month (yet they use it as proof that the game has been "in progress" for some time), ambiguous reasoning for their target which seems far too low to fund development, piss-poor 5-minute Photoshop logo to make them seem more legit (but zomg HAHAHAHA it's so goofy and fun take my money rocket bear wooooooo!!!).

Come on guys, don't throw money at people who don't deserve it.

@Brodehouse said:

@leebmx No, he's pretty much right. He's fired because he said something harsh about a woman that people like. If he said that Pachter or Whitta or out own Ryan Davis don't contribute anything besides personality, people would argue with him, but he would still have a job. If we fired people for being rude and unprofessional, Brad would be the only staff member left over here.

Unless you can back up that claim, you're just creating a hypothetical, fictional situation and outcome to "prove" your point. If someone like Ryan or Whitta made a personal attack on someone like that, regardless of gender, I am confident they would get in trouble for it. They simply wouldn't do it. Why would they? Why does someone, for no apparent reason, question what another person "adds" to an industry? What does he add? What does anyone add? Why is that considered a good question, or a necessary one?

@Rhaknar: They're gonna have to call in the international gamecops for this one.
