h:mm:ss is probably better than just number of seconds for the time.
I do (s) because it's then easier to parse the data using automatic commands. If I want to see the average time between Kojima's it's really easy to do in this format. It isn't easy to do in h:mm:ss unfortunately.
Do all your calculations then convert it at the very end
Looks like the phrase used was 'few job openings upstairs' which may be a reference to the fact that the two editors at Gawker just quit. Guy is probably joking that Patrick should go for one of the editor spots.
But then again, he could've quit. I couldn't tell you - the author bylines are so small on that site that I rarely know who is doing anything unless I'm specifically checking for someone I like. I keep up with Patrick via his youtube/twitch stuff.
You are talking about a tweet I sent him and it was indeed referring to the Gawker guys quitting
UK users can also donate by texting 'HEAD97 £2' to 70070 or whatever value you like where it says "£2" - both donations to the website and via text can also give additional GiftAid contributions if you are a UK taxpayer.
My sister-in-law and a family friend who had leukaemia as a child are both shaving their heads this Sunday (TODAY!) and are fundraising for the Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children which helps children with cancer in Northern Ireland and their families by providing practical, emotional and financial support through its Youth & Family Programmes, Road Miles & Home Heating schemes and respite at Shimna Valley, near Newcastle and Narnia, a purpose built Log Cabin for young people.
In Nicola, my sister-in-law's words:
In March 2014 the no make up selfie generated millions of pounds for cancer charities around the world. During this time a friend of mine suggested that we go one step further and shave our hair....a scary prospect, but one which I hope will help to raise funds for a special service here in Northern Ireland. We will be facing the clippers on Sunday 1st June (more details to follow soon).
With your help I hope to raise £1050 for Daisy Lodge, a unique mountain lodge style building which will offer short breaks to children and families 'at any stage in their cancer journey'. The recently opened lodge provides therapeutic breaks to 'families nursing a child with cancer, bereaved families and families in which a parent has been diagnosed with cancer.' £350 can provide a family with a short therapeutic break so if I reach my target 3 families will be able to visit Daisy Lodge. More information about Daisy Lodge and the work of Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children can be found at www.nicfc.com/
