Please put the controller in someone elses hands for game of year talks if for nothing else. If you aren't confident do it during side quests or something. The combat is really, really not that hard. It's not hard to turn towards your target while attacking instead of doing an entire attack chain facing the same direction during every single attack.
Have to say I agree. In some ways I get it might be hard for 2 hours a week, but I really wish someone could just go to the studio and show them how to play. Maybe just have Alex give it a shot so they can at least discuss it among themselves?
Later in the episode, battle system feels great and heat moves are easy to pull off. Dan just needs to pay attention to when the heat icon flashes in the corner and actually lock on and evade...
@alex Now that you guys got the Master skills part down, I think if you just read through the tips here (Namely use R1 to lock on and with it X to evade) then you're basically caught up!
^that and there is really no reason to try to finish them immediately after starting them. You'll just have a bunch of exclamation marks around you that you can pursue at your leisure. I definitely had some side stories that I would slowly contribute to over a couple of chapters.
If we still haven't figured out how the master skills work I'm going to come back and edit this comment with all caps.
Dan, look for 1970's 'library music', music made not for release but to be used in films and tv-shows. Plenty of stuff on Youtube, you should find something to walk down the streets to!
