Both will probably be awesome, but I am more of a Battlefield fan, so I would recommend that purchase. However, I am biased.

Sometimes it's nice to just think for yourself, you know, sort of like a good movie. I had no problem with the answers that were given to me.

I also agree that you could use a spoiler warning.

I remember playing Shadowrun on the SNES...

I actually found the changes that they made in Cataclysm really brought forth some sort of care for story, namely the in game cutscenes. I still think the level 80-85 areas have some of the best storylines in the game.

But, I can also understand that it does not apply to anyone, so I can't really say why you would want to play WoW if you don't really enjoy the gameplay, or have any people to play with (and yeah, addons can be a bitch too.) If you like loot driven games, there are a lot of them out there after all!

Well, I haven't really noticed any audio problems than those present in other games (like music dissapearing). I haven't noticed too much lag either.

Let's see if online pass works - yay!
