I played Shenmue 2 without any context and I honestly hated it. Maybe the translation was terrible, and it would have been better with Japanese voices, but I thought the dialog was boring and awful, and the voice acting beyond bad. Similar to Heavy Rain, in a game where the whole point is to see the story through, faults like that are inexcusable. On top of that I didn't like any of the gameplay. The second time I had to stack boxes to make money I almost quit outright. I'm kind of amazed I managed to finish it.

I don't know - I don't mean to be a complete hater, but I find almost nothing to like about it. I guess the ambition is admirable, but that doesn't make it fun to play or watch.

I can't remember them either. I know I picked the first two right, and then I think I picked Saints Row and Skyrim a bunch for for everyone else. And them something random for Drew and Rayman or something for Alex. I'm sure I'm going to get it wrong, so I guess it doesn't matter.

I actually really like the use of Mad World in Gears 3. When it first came on in multiplayer I thought I was losing my mind. Glad to see it on the list.

Word. I think the way the music alters as you performs different tasks puts it above many of the other games on the list. So awesome. On of the test chamers in particular has you flying around the room, and when you finally solve the puzzle the music swells in a gorgeous way. I think their top 3 is pretty good but Portal 2 should be in it, I think.

Just keep your old cables around so you can switch back in case the particular game upgraded to ugly.

Component cables always made my games look much better, though. And I was using an SDTV.
