It's October, and I'm back on schedule bringing another edition of my monthly list of current and upcoming titles for the PlayStation Vita. As usual, this list is focused on the North American market, with Europe and Japan exclusive titles in their own sections below.

It heavy on retail titles this month, starting out with the literal anime fighter Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax and farming simulator Farming Simulator 16. Then gross out horror franchise Corpse Party continues with Blood Drive, giant bugs attack in Earth Defense Force 2: Invaders From Planet Space (delayed from last month), a girl with a poison touch drowns in handsome suitors in otome visual novel Code: Realize: Guardian of Rebirth, and the DJ Max developers return with rhythm game Superbeat: Xonic. As for downloads, only Super Meat Boy has been revealed, though there is usually more announced month progresses.

For new titles, notable announcements included fighting game One Piece: Burning Blood, visual novel Muv-Luv, puzzle game Spider: Rite of the Shrouded Moon, Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires, as well as licensed action-adventure title Phineas and Ferb: Day of Doofenshmirtz.

In Japan Square Enix revealed three 90s styled JRPGs, Ikenie to Yuki no Setsuna from their RPG Factory studio, and a remake of Final Fantasy Adventure, and a port of the Star Ocean: Second Evolution. Tecmo Koei announced Toukiden 2. Spike Chunsoft finally confirmed Danganronpa 3. And Atlus continued their partnership with Vanillaware, publishing 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim. Else, as a matter of housekeeping I should note that Gravity Rush 2 was revealed as a PS4 exclusive, so it has been removed. Not entirely unexpected, but I wanted to keep it on until we received confirmation.
