The Lack of chapters this week on the podcast is already missed! Hopefully they are able too come back next week.

The new theme isn't going anywhere. You can skip it if you don't like it, and I do. To me it just sounds like dissonant noise, not anything even remotely lyrical or melodic.

But that's just me and it's easy enough for me to avoid so on with my life I go.

Even with all the changes going on, this is still a reliable and useful part of the website! I hope you know your work is appreciated!

Okay so the joke is, " let's do that guy with the glasses/Channel awesome content producer satire circa 2008-2011 era" right?

Like this is a take off of the Cinema Snob, or some of the Nostalgia Critic kind of stuff? That's fine I guess, I will freely admit that if there's some deeper or more up-to-date kind of humor here I've either grown past it or flown over my head.

Upon reflection I finally realized what my choice for a game for this series would be.

If I go for "Game I most loved/was influenced by but am still to this day embarassed about", I'd go with Lunar 2. Which, to be fair, the embarrassment is much more because of a certain song from the first game I could still sing by heart (and likely will go do after I write this, lord i never grow up) but the 2nd really stands out to me because its story (cliche though it was) and anime-style hit then young me right in the "this is the greatest game I've ever played".

I 100% credit Lunar 2 with being the major source of cementing my personal long standing tradition of "Story over gameplay" and "Games are meant to be pleasing escapist fantasy" but most of all "The best stories have happy endings." Or the Romance genres "No matter the drama and story, I want my happily ever after ending please and thank you!" view-point.

No I don't care if it's silly, or half the reason young me liked that games final/true ending is because there was a naked(well, PG-13 levels) anime girl in it. I still, right this moment, can hear the last line in that game and swell up with joy. (It's "Hiro!" for anyone wanting more reason to mock me even).

Ok so, personal rant aside. This series is fantastic. Looking forward to the next one.

As someone who consumes way to much MTGA content (of the draft/competitive nature) this is a real nice thing to see.

It's hard for me to judge just how fun this game would be to suggest to more casual players/people who just wanna play magic and have some fun. Its good to see that, seemingly, MTGA is not 'just' the "must draft/be able to play a top-tier standard/historic deck in order to have any fun." which I've thought it to be for awhile.

The brief write-up in the description Re:Chariot/Izzet Turns might not mean much to someone know following such, but I at least get the reference btw.

Re: Timestamps. Someone in the youtube comments nicely put some up.

Gosh I wish they would tell me how much more a month I needed to pay to have them put chapters into these 2+ hour podcasts ala Nextlander does. I'd even just take "show me what to pay to get timestamps added officially/in the description for the pod....like literally every single other 90+ minute podcast I listen too/follow that covers a range of topics does.

All I know is this show is the one I'd like to be listening too every week, but is also the only one that has disappeared from the premium podcast feed. Hopefully whatever's been keeping it from showing up (or showing up a week+ late if at all) for the last month will get solved soon!
