4 people and no one took a healing skill haha I'm really liking the Hive ability so far, works similar to the support station in the first game.
I know some people miss it but I'm glad to see snowy New York gone. Hundreds of hours of grey snowy areas and subways gets to be a bummer, seeing actual colors is so nice and the buildings seem much more interactive with all kinds of caches to find and areas to explore.
Have to disagree with Brad re: Shadow of the Tomb Raider. I'm about half way through and loving it where as I absolutely hated Rise. The lame Trinity stuff is still there but they smartly focus more on Lara and her struggles/relationships which is much more in line with the stellar first game of the reboot.
It's still way too samey with a lot of pointless scenes of Lara getting beat to hell, unnecessarily grisly death scenes for traps and boring upgrade trees but the story at least isn't actively terrible so it's a bit easier to overlook.
"Outside of The Power Bombcast's return, a Persona 5 Endurance Run"
This man gets it, since I've gotten somewhat into wrestling again over the last year and started watching NXT I miss the Power Bombcast more than ever.
Dan's dislike of the fundamental characteristics of Spider-Man helps explain why he was so quick to dismiss Homecoming. Makes sense the only heroes he likes are grim-dark Batman and The Punisher.
Jan plays League?! As if he wasn't already awesome enough. I was in a similar situation where I fell off for a while cause my friends PC died and it's a bummer to play solo. We just started playing again a couple weeks ago and it's been a blast, check out the preseason if you haven't cause there's a lot of smart changes to streamline the old runes and masteries.
Last of Us too violent/dark in 2017 yet DOOM and Wolfenstein are fine, ooooookay. I know Wolfenstein is more comical but I see nothing about 2017 that means we have to dilute our video games. I love how bleak Last of Us is, the violence is so well portrayed.
For sure, it was strange how negative they were while praising Wolfenstein for doing very similar things. Jeff also speaking on behalf of fans feelings on the trailer when he admits himself he didn't like The Last of Us was confusing.
Having Greg on made me really hope the new hire is more enthusiastic and upbeat, he helped keep things from getting too negative. GBW content can feel a bit dour at times compared to GBE, they need someone to add excitement in the studio.
I'm not even into sim style racing games and this seems pretty amazing. Kudos to them for the sportsmanship videos, interesting way to try and combat toxic players right from the jump. I look forward to seeing where this is at a few months from now, seems like it has lots of room to grow.
