What about old fashioned split screen with pro controllers?

@yoshimitz707: No flashing. Just the big Wii U logo on the screen. I also could not shut it off with the power button, even if i held it for a few seconds. Had to unplug it to shut it off. The eject button seems to work though. Gonna try to exchange it today.

Bought a Wii U today and when I booted it up it just hung on the startup logo. No menus, I couldn't even shut it down via the power button.

This happen to anyone else?

Now I know what to ask for this Christmas!
