I would suggest the tell tale games, you could pick which one fits his personality best. walking dead is great and borderlands was also good, but I like borderlands. I have gotten my sister who doesn't play games but loved walking dead to play two seasons of that. There is very little action, its more like interactive movie. So if he hasn't played many these can be easy way to get started and don't take long to get all the way through. QTEs will help teach buttons too. If he gets all the way through one game he would like want to try another than slowly push more involved games.

I love Xcom too, and turned based stuff should be good cause there's no rush and you can move at whatever pace or put controller down whenever. The only thing I would say against xcom is they're a little janky, and not the best at explaining everything. However put it on easy and almost everyone can get through.

I did not have my mic on, cause why would I. I didn't hear dude talking either, I did pause what I was watching at same time and put small effort to communicate. I honestly didn't think of mic, didn't know if it actual worked. I completed anther quest and got decent reward but cryogenic chambers had to come from from him cause I got 4 stacks=20 total. Game never gives that big of reward. I'm now interests in making joining someone else game and trying to find someone.

I've been having fun playing no man's sky, despite its problems. I chip away at quests, has they work and am always getting bigger and better ships. last night I was doing missions for exocraft guy, getting colossus blueprint. He asks you to race to some ruin before time runs out. I wsn't paying to close attention so first time I went to wrong place not really aware there was time limit. Second time I'm driving and I see a ship land on ground near me, not at any building. This is completely rare cause NPC ships generally only land at trading posts and never randomly on ground. Cause of time limit though I don't stop, I get to ruin and and have to read through some dialog. Has I'm locked into dialog is see other player run up on my and start waving. When I'm done I get out and we point at each other for a few moments, I have no idea what he's trying to tell me if anything. I than go back to my base and he follows I turn in mission and run around base for a minute or two still no clue what he wants. He like me has rare ship, I tried clicking on his ship but nothing happened. I just continue on so I launch into space and pirates rolled up on me has I shoot them down I see my friend for last time/ I couldn't tell if he also saw pirate or not? I let the the ships stay alive longer than needed to see if he would shoot at it, but didn't seem so. I call in my freighter and land, this is much cooler than my base but guy doesn't follow. While there I sell off stuff and that's when I realize I have 20 cryogenic chambers, I don't know where they came from and its either has to be from my friend or from mission quest rewards. I think it came from my friend at some point though I don't know when. I sell 15 of the chambers for 60 million credits. In the end I did finally met random person, I have no idea how he found me other than I was near one of my bases when he did. I had no clue if he wanted something or what he was doing? I think I got cryogenic chambers from him but I don't know why/how/when or if he was just giving me stuff. It was interesting but very lacking in real interaction.

I still play and I still like game. Game's still broken, I can only play for like 2 hours at a time than have to restart cause everything starts slowing down and lagging. Best clear cut sign I've found that it is time to quit is when melee jump trick stops working. My universal domination moves forward ever slowly.

Someone tweeted something I thought was great, basically it said Ronda is scariest women on planet cause there is high chance she actually hurts someone. I agree suplex at end looked terrible. I'm shocked she doesn't pull someone's arm out of socket doing those throws too. I watch her fight and think "man, someone going to get hurt." Her throwing punches is one of her best attacks, and I can't understand why a ref wouldn't step in to stop her. I think they'll give her title at summerslam, but than what? I do like seeing her but she's not good. So you going to have to make the rest of your talent look bad to come down to her level? or she just going to take Brock's place has champ who never actually fights. Shayna Baszler does everything better, she talks better, she doesn't laugh and smile while trying to be mean. She's better wrestler has larger move set, and arm bar looks better too. On top of everything else her story is better cause she wasn't just thrown into title fight on first day.

I liked DS9 and what was interesting about it was half the episodes were one offs. I think that would be great idea for new show with Picard, put him has commander, overseer, whatever title works in control of base. This way he only needs to show up for a minutes each episode and let rest of cast carry show. If you make it space station you can once again have lots of one off random shows and Picard doesn't even have to show up half the time. I would think you need to give him some kid to look after. I like the idea of stories told in star trek universe where its not always life or death. At some point that was my problem with discovery, I liked it but man it got complicated fast. I thought they did good job building characters and I was interested in them but at some point I kept thinking I was missing something. More star trek is always better. I say the same thing with star wars too. Sure I prefer they were all gold but I know that's never going to happen so I would like them to just keep trying.

My current goal is get my exosuit has large has possible I land on planet pull out my signal booster, which I carry, hit find drop pod. Once I get there I fix pod which seems to be same material every time. I use pod to get extra cargo spot. I usually bust out signal boost again to find random building go there and hope guy sells drop pod coordinates, I have stack now so my not too picky anymore. Usually the guy on planet who trades blueprints and sell components will have drop pod coordinates. I than hit next planet. I than wrap to new system. I go to space station to buy extra spot on exosuit. I buy the tech spot cause they sell them cheaper than cargo spot. I'm really just farming inventory spots at this point. My next goal will be to buy good size ship. I haven't found many over 40 spots though.

I was listening to bombcast this week and Alex was talking about restarting his game and Dan said he did first five hours muplite times. This seems like a terrible idea, unless you're switching platforms. The thought of I haven't played in long time let me start over to relearn what is going on is wrong. The game never tells you what's going on. The quest system is much better, but there are no great tutorials in game. You are better off looking up wiki online if you need help, I would suggest it. Instead of trying to fix your tool and ship the best thing to do is too scrap has much of it has possible and than trade for one that isn't broken. At some point you need more slots why go back to beginning just to grind. You need to acquire blueprints, don't start over do everything you can to acquire every blueprint, buy them, do quests, and fix capsules. If you've spent almost any time with game I would recommend continuing your game cause has you relearn what's going on you can be moving forward at same time.

I hope they finally get rid of Brock. I hate the idea of the champ never being there. Had to look up when his UFC title fight will be cause I assumed WWE would let him stay champ till that fight, so they can have duel sport champ. Brock is still suspended from UFC for doping since he reentered technically in July he still has 6 months to go. So the earliest this UFC title fight could be would be Jan. 2019. I now see this going one of two ways.

A: Brock losses at summerslam and they cut him lose to never be seen again. If the guy wants to fight in UFC go you're dead to us. Part of reason he hasn't been seen lately is cause they have him for one more big payday to have him lose than boot him. Save his big lose for big show like summerslam. I prefer this option, his matches aren't that good when they do happen, and the best part of him is Paul Heyman and he can stay.

B: WWE and UFC are working together and both like the idea of their champs fighting each other. UFC will get huge sales number for champ vs champ ppv, lots of WWE fans will watch like they do when Punk loses fights. UFC can't lose, If Courmer wins than they can say UFC is real fighters and WWE is fake. If Brock wins they get to do whole thing over with rematch. WWE would love to bring Brock out on raw with both belts, gives them the appearance of realism. This would mean Brock has to win at summerslam, than he probably has one more match before January, likely Survivor series. However, if he's training for UFC he likely will not be showing up anywhere to rule out chance of getting hurt. I think there is outside chance he wins at summerslam than does nothing for rest of year and rides out year has champ. This could be why they are having Roman vs Brock again, Roman has already lose this match why not force him to lose it again. Better Roman than star people actually like. If Brock wins UFC title in Jan. this leads to huge mania match in April.

Living in south Florida I saw ads for raw last week and it was Brock and Ronda. I watch enough to know they weren't actually going to do anything but I would bet some fool thought they were actually see them fight. I was really hoping at end of raw Brock would come down just walk around ring than head back up ramp, never doing anything.

I didn't know about that ricochet thing I had upgraded my boltcaster and did see that I could shot through a door when I went to new planet, I thought maybe I needed to build different weapon cause of certain race used better doors. The other Thing I found that the game doesn't seem to tell hyou anywhere is you can have too many upgrades for one weapon type. I added my 6th upgrade for my boltcaster and than it popped up that multi tool was over loaded and mark 3 of the upgrades has broken. Once I removed the one the others were fine again.

The new bug I've run into my fleet is my ships came back damaged again. However I an not find last node that is broken anywhere on ship. I've run around to every terminal to see if it just wasn't marked but they all seem fine. going to send it out again and see how it comes back.

My newest bug after latest patch is, before mission was to rebuild base, now it says go to overseer. I travel to place marked, I have to use teleporter to get there. I fly out only to see the marker is randomly in the middle of space. The guy, I believe is sitting in my freighter cargo hold with all my other scientist. There does seem to be a glitch of trying to give people free freighter who already have one. Otherwise when you buy freighter its like buying a ship and you can transfer stuff on page where both are shown before buying. The other freighters that go in your fleet are different ships. These ships can been seen around other NPC freighters and are marked has recruitable ships/freighters. You fly near them and than can talk with them on radio. I sent my fleet on mission and got around 200,000 units plus random stuff for rewards. I than selected 2 star mission to send them on and it stayed two star, so I really dont' know why the one star one changed last time.

I've also bought another S class scanner so now I make 65,000 per plant and around 250,000 per animal. Not sure what I'm going to buy other than massive freighter if I ever get around 100 million. Currently I just buy anything I could want and never care about price.

I took out 2 walkers. I use my gun to shoot off armor plating on legs and than head. than I get in my ship and make strafing runs shooting the thing. I needed walker brain for something, but was surprised that it wasn't worth a lot of money so I would say that its not worth effort unless you need brain.

After playing this morning for a few hours I still run into same issue where after hour or two the game more and more lagy. It's almost like a reminder for me to save game and take a break.
