This was a great quick look. Rorie's expertise with and enthusiasm for the game combined with Abby's perspective as a lapsed 'Horizon' player, while also asking interesting questions, makes for a good time while having my dinner. And really, that's what you want, isn't it? Good stuff.
I appreciate how this DLC gives us something, character-wise, we haven't really seen before, up until now: a somewhat-unsettled Javik. Really helps to sell the atmosphere of unease of the circumstances beyond...well, the obvious. He was a good choice to bring along, I think.
Edit: Also, well done, Vinny - I lost it at, "...I've joined Cerberus." SOMEONE'S not getting their Loyalty Mission done any time soon!
As ever, great episode, Commanders. And William Petersen as an Admiral in the next 'Mass Effect', please.
I appreciate how Kaiden becomes Michael Biehn-as-Kyle Reese by the end of this episode.
Also, now that the Reapers and Cerberus aren't getting along, I hope we get a cutscene at Cerberus HQ of a Reaper complaining to the Illusive Man in his big conference room ("It's Cerber-us, not Cerber-you!")
On the topic of favourite bits of science fiction: the annual going-on-the-piss with the ship's doctor. It's the little humanising details that often make the best sci-fi stories, at least to me.
@wiseblood: I'm surprised he didn't proceed to slip into Anderson's bath robe, put on a pair of Aviators and then call Anderson from his home office, Jason Bourne-style.
