Final Fantasy III. I've been on an RPG kick lately, and thanks to ZombiePie's continued exploration of the series, I'm determined to finish most of the single-player Final Fantasy games, too. Prior to this year, I'd only completed Final Fantasy I, II, and XIII, though I've always been interested in other installments.

I know ZombiePie said he feared Final Fantasy III at the start of his Final Fantasy XI blog, but for anyone with the same hesitations, it's entirely doable as long as you're not averse to grinding or using a guide to plan out your job composition. That said, I'm also playing on an emulator, because the speed-up button trivializes the fear of leveling the wrong class or acquiring money.

If I had more time or didn't have 15 other entries I've yet to play, then I would commit to seeing Final Fantasy III through on official hardware (it's currently installed on a Vita slowly gathering dust). As an adult with bills and a family, however, that's a luxury I'm simply not afforded.

Got back into Pokemon Go after the announcement of Pokemon Let's Go! Pikachu/Eevee. I also created a friend codes thread for any duders that might want to add and send gifts to each other.

The ability to add, trade with, and send gifts to friends in Pokemon Go was recently implemented, so I thought I'd make a thread where any fellow duders -- both old and new to Pokemon Go (and few as we may be) -- can share their friend codes.

My Friend Code: 7383 5812 6650

To locate your friend code, tap your character portrait in the bottom-left corner of the screen, then select the "Friends" tab. When you choose to add a friend, your friend code will also appear. Happy hunting!

It’s Pokémon X for me. All that breeding/trading for a living ‘dex eats away the hours.

To anyone getting hand cramps with a New 3DS XL, I’d almost recommend picking up the 2DS XL. The plastic may feel somewhat cheap when you’re holding it, but I believe it’s lighter than other XLs, and the larger form factor distributes that weight better.

@dochaus:

Yeah, almost everyone that loves Hero Academia shares a hatred for Mineta. He’s the one stain on a show that’s, at least, above average in every department.

My Hero Academia and One-Punch Man have made it into my top five favorite series of all time, and I've been watching anime since the late '90s.

I'll echo others by saying I didn't experience frame rate issues when I played the game near launch. The story has its share of disappointments, but performance problems were nonexistent for me in Second Son and First Light.

There is no release date shipping option on pre-orders from what I've recently seen. You choose two-day shipping at checkout, and it's up to chance whether or not the game arrives on its launch date.

I cast my vote for Call of Duty. I've been a fan of the series since the original, and while nothing will probably exceed the glory of those old-school, 64-man shootouts, I'm ready for another good World War II FPS.

Battlefront II would be a close second, only because I've been stuck on the side of lackluster teamwork too often in the first DICE-developed Battlefront.
