2014 marks the 10th anniversary of the Nintendo DS, perhaps my favorite video game system ever. The DS was the first system I owned where I actually followed news and reviews about what games were being released instead of only playing whatever was gifted to me by my parents. I also was able to buy my own games for the first time, thanks to odd jobs I did around the neighborhood, and DS games were cheap enough that I experiment with all sorts of genres and series.
Some of my favorite games of all time are on the DS and I hold a lot of nostalgic memories for the system. So here are just a few of the games I really enjoyed on the system in the order that I played them.
