Got an Xbox over Black Friday, looking to liven up my community page a bit. Didn't have a 360 last gen and don't know anyone with an Xbox so my friends list is very sparse.

I play Battlefield 1, Titanfall 2, Doom (once it arrives in the mail), and Killer Instinct. I play pretty much every genre, as long as the game's good.

Don't sleep on Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance. It gets a bad rap because of the music, but it's one of the best metroidvanias imo.

And get both the Advance Wars games.

I LOVE the "GBTV" idea of constantly playing old vids with chat. That would be really cool. An interface styled after Netflix is a nice idea, too.

Jeff also mentioned qlcrew.com in the jar time video, and I really like how easy that site makes searching through old quicklooks. If there were a way to make that an official part of the GB site, that would be great.

This is my first time playing it, too. I've finished IV on DS and enjoyed it, but never moved on to other DQ games. I'm really enjoying this one so far. Visually, I think it's amazing, and the story vignettes are surprisingly good. I thought the plot of IV was entirely mediocre, so VII is leaving a solid impression at 20 hours in. We'll see how I feel at 100 hours.

A few months ago, I got a nice bonus at work and decided to get one of those Neo Geo Omega consolized MVS units. It looked like fun on all the GB streams and I love Metal Slug, so why not right? Especially since I doubt I'll ever have the space or technical know-how for owning a cab.

Anyways, I've since managed to get a decent-sized library together of my personal must-haves, and now I'm looking for other great Neo Geo games that can be had relatively cheap (which for me is around $30). I know multi-carts are out there, but I'm really only looking for originals at this point. Any suggestions?

I've already got SamSho 1-3, Metal Slug 1 and X, Neo Turf Masters, Windjammers, and KOF 2000.

I picked it up Friday on a little bit of a whim (though I've played DQ games before in the past and enjoyed them), and I've put in about 5.5 hours since then.

It starts a bit slow, but picks up quite a bit after the first 1.5 hours. The game looks ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, especially the battles. The monster designs and animations are just superb and the 3D adds a great depth to the backdrops. The battle theme is amazing too, and the battles themselves move at a really snappy pace. I think it's the best looking game on the system to be honest. I'm playing on a N3DS if that makes any difference. It's dumb the camera is mapped to L and R instead of the nub, but that's not a big deal.

Overall, I'm really, really impressed so far and I haven't got into any of the deeper mechanics yet. Anyone else enjoying this? I hope GB do a quick look or something because it seems like a fantastic remake so far and deserves some coverage.

So now that Ryckert's into classic Resident Evil, I'd like to eventually see a premium feature where he plays through RE2 (both scenarios of course), 3, and CVX. Now that we know RE2 remake is happening, this would be a great lead-in to that coming out. Just sayin' ;-)
