Pratt Institute/Freshman "Foundation" Year/08-31-09

So yesterday was my first day of classes. Light and Colour design. Went fairly well. Looking at how it all pans out, it's a 6 hour class. But I'm used to being in one class for a long period, used to be 2 now it's 3. Did some basic exercises with red, blue and yellow colored pencils, nothing out of the ordinary. I look forward to this class as I want to get better with colour, but it requires me buying more supplies. Acrylics, a lot of traditional materials I never used much. Remember, I never attended an all around art high school. However, I should look at it as part of this investment for my education and it'll be nice to have the space to work with other mediums like painting (although I hate painting).  
 
How'd your first days go?   

I start Thursday. :D

I still have another 3 weeks until I  start a 4 year degree in History in Trinity college Dublin.  I have viewed my prospectus for the first year though, and it looks like for the first year at least things will be pretty boring. And I'm talking 300 years of Medieval Irish History-type boring :p

I've got until next Wednesday.

Six hours in one class? Shit.

My first day was a week or two ago (I don't even remember and don't care to think right now, so SHUT IT) and it was your typical "hi, how are ya" doldrum crap because the course starts proper. 

Class?  Can't even remember how my last day of class went, let alone my first.

Well my first day of college was 8 years ago nearly now and honestly can't remember it really but my experience overall in college was enjoyable and really preferred it to university due to the fact I was closer to home and had a good time with my classmates even though some of them were the typical idiot.

My first week has gone great I'll be posting a blog later today so you should read it!

It's always exciting to embark on a new adventure.  Enjoy it.
