I Can Beat You With Dan...Seriously, Also Video Game Soundtracks!

Now, if you're a Street Fighter fan or significantly familiar with the awesome franchise, you should be aware of Dan's "special capabilities." You should also know that they are certainly not so special. He's a sucky fighter really, although I've seen a few folks pull some amazing feats in matches using him. As of today, I can sorta say I'm one of those people since I got the previously mentioned achievement. With that, I can also say I'm pretty good at the game now. I'd like to see one of you guys try and put me to shame, so my gamertag is right there in the "About Me" section. I only wish the game's XBL servers were more populated. Oh, and I also got the achievement for beating the Arcade Mode without continuing. 8)
Speaking of XBLA, there's some awesome titles coming out really soon. There is Geometry Wars 2, which to me looks visually stunning. I've never played the original in its entirety (only the portion provided in your garage in Project Gotham Racing 3), but it's hailed as one of the best XBLA titles. Hopefully the sequel will hold up just as well. I want to get this and Castle Crashers which I believe is coming out on the last Wednesday of August, and it's been a loooong time coming.
Also as of this morning, I have indulged myself heavily back into listening to video game soundtracks. I wish they were marketed more effeciently, I don't see much being sold in retail outlets like Best Buy, Target, etc. But of course, it's heavily replicated for download right here on the net. The thing that is so awesome and beneficial about video game soundtracks is how well they're composed. They just sound friggin' fantastic, for example, the Beyond Good and Evil soundtrack (thanks James!). Actually, it's growing attraction in the music industry, you'd be surprised to see how many artists are getting involved; aside from the actual music game genre. For instnace, did you know that Stewart Copeland, the drummer from The Police, was greatly involved in composing the score for Insomniac's baby Spyro the Dragon?
Hope you enjoyed reading this. Gonna go play some stuff, mainly FFX.
Peace. :)
