Been enjoying Modern Warfare 2. Life is good, school is very good, school is very expesnive. Just trying to stay creative, and playing video games more will perhaps help with that.

Wished I played through Mass Effect 1 because II looks awesome. 
 
Heard Bioshock 2 isn't as good as the original was, as far as initial impact and engrossment. Should I still buy? 
 
Anyone enjoyed Bayonetta? I was watching that game for a while and forgot about it's January release.

Buy Mass Effect 2. You'll get caught up with the first games story in no time; and you won't miss much with not having a character from the first game-I didn't.

Dude, you're alive.  Glad you're enjoying school. I know nothing about new games so I can't help you, but I'm hearing a lot of good things about Bayonetta.

I'm enjoying BioShock 2 so far, though I'm not as engrossed in at as I was the first one. Rapture just doesn't hit as hard the second time around. It's still a really fun game, just not as impactful as the first. I say don't expect to be floored by it, but if you liked the gameplay and atmosphere of the first BioShock and want more of that, BioShock 2 delivers. Even the multiplayer, while not likely to replace CoD or TF2 for me, is a fun diversion.
 
Mass Effect 2, on the other hand, is awesome, and without a doubt deserves your cash money. I say go for that over BioShock 2, no question. Heck, if you can, pick up the first one before you play the second. It's pretty cheap these days, and while it's not at all needed to play ME2, having a save from the first can add a bit of color to the universe.
 
Glad you're doing well and having fun in school. I'm a senior in high school right now, and I'm still trying to figure out what I'm going to do with my life.

Bayonetta is an awesome game Ish.  I recommend you get it when you can since if you like DMC or Ninja Gaiden, you will enjoy this and I think its better than those two since it has great action and a right level of challenge.
 
If you want a better experience in the ME universe, I recommend getting one especially since you can get it cheap now anyway.  I just loved the little nuances that occurred throughout my playthrough of two and what occurred due to my actions in the first game.  III will be the same.
 
Fair play to you for playing MW 2 since I just can't play that game anymore.  Unbalanced in my honest opinion and every time a patch comes out, there is another glitch or two that gets exploited and thus ruins the experience for other people.  
 
Why is people always going on about how Rapture ain't as mysterious, creepy or impactful as it was in the first one.  Of course it ain't.  You've been there before.  Good game with some fun MP but freezes regularly making it quite hard to enjoy it at the time being.

As far as your gaming questions go, I only have an opinion on Bayonetta, which is absolutely amazing, so you should play it. 
 
For some reason I have absolutely no interest in BioShock 2.. Weird.

Play through Mass Effect 1. I did, twice just to refresh myself, and it really did make me enjoy Mass Effect 2 much more.

I really enjoyed ME 2 a whole damn lot. Absolutely fantastic game from start to finish. As others have said, I recommend you play through the first one, just to get a good feel for the second. I couldn't import my character from the first game (damn French version), and that makes me feel like I've missed out on a lot. 
 
BioShock 2 starts off a bit flat, but man does it redeem itself towards the end. I'd say pick it up.
