I have an iPhone 4 from work and a Nokia Lumia 920 as my personal phone. Do you guys really have to pay those kind of prices in America? My personal phone is on contract for £31 p/m, which is about $50 and is 600 minutes, 1.5GB of data and unlimited texts... what kind of deal do you get for $110?!

Hi!

I'm currently intending to make my first trip to America, and San Francisco is at the top of my location list right now. I'm hoping to be over for the 4th of July (30 June -7 July), cos I figure the weather will be good and there's probably going to be a load of stuff going on?

Anyway I had a few queries about the city, where's good to eat and drink? Any good recommendations on where to go at night (bars/clubs etc)? Also any general advice on customs etc, for example, being from England, tipping isn't something we do as standard, so I'm not clear on what's accepted and what circumstances you should or shouldn't tip in.

I won't be driving, but is there anything I should make sure I do or see? I'm going to do the obvious like Alcatraz, Golden Gate Bridge (I assume you can walk/run over it) etc.

I've not finalised a hotel yet, but to give you an idea of the starting area, I'm currently looking at staying in either The Stanford Court, W San Francisco on Third Street, or Hotel Palomar on 4th Street, unless anyone local has heard anything bad about those places?

SPOILERS!!!

The ones when you tell your friends you're staying on the island? You can take them labout 4 or 5 times, they fill in the back story around how they ended up on the island.

You can do The Robot in a nightclub, whihc is pretty cool.

The one real issue I had with episode 3 was that I didn't even notice Omid, the camera pans over so quickly and the lingers on Christa.

HEY BOMBCAST GUYS!!

There's GAMESTOPS all over europe, including the UK, so stop fucking wondering shit so much!

fact checking will ruin the podcast.

yeah but it's very common knowledge and come across as American ignorance for anyone outside America

Well, how many people can that be, REALLY?

There are no Gamestop stores in the UK. The last ones closed in Jan 2012, all Gamestop business in the UK is done via the website.

I think Halo should have won HD Remake, because, in my opinion, it's the only one of these things that's actually done it properly, by keeping the game the same but also genuinely making the graphics up to modern standards.

. And I know that no one from Giantbomb is playing this game so reporting on this kind of conjecture is a little irresponsible.

Except for Jeff and Ryan?

...but also the majority of people HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THOUGHT GOES INTO A REVIEW.

And that's something that should change. I know it's something Jeff in particular has been pretty open about in various forms (podcasts, some of the Premium videos and a few articles). IMO, the opening up of the review process from all sites is only a good thing for the readers/customers, to help them understand how this review/score was formed.
