CDPR had nothing to do with that first trailer, it was outsourced IIRC, so I knew the game would likely be pretty different. It looks like the deep, massive Cyberpunk RPG we've always wanted but never had. Probably my game of E3 so far.

Smoking anything is probably bad for you, but it should be up to people to decide, have unwritten laws about how much is acceptable to consume in public (like booze with your buds in weed's case), have a minimum age requirement, and you should stop if you're bothering someone else's lungs with it of course. Weed brownies is the perfect medium for it I think, though, 'cos everyone wins! It never needed to become a big deal in the first place, but we needed to go through the whole turmoil opinion-wise to get to this far more positive point in time regarding weed, I think. Other than younger people (13-17) smoking it very regularly, which is likely not good while the brain chemistry is still developing, it should be a trivial subject soon (I'm guessing). Caffeine is my drug, though, and probably way more dangerous, haha.

Anyway, it warms my heart to see all the guys together. I wish E3 was every six months :0(

Absolutely one of the greatest SNES games ever. I'd say this and Mickey's Wild Adventure nailed their respective art styles unbelievably well, and were fun to boot.

I mean, it looks really cool, and plays well. I haven't seen anything overwhelmingly shit or off-putting about it, it's just a flawed, beautiful game, and I want to support it so the next beautiful game they make can learn from those flaws.

I am excited to buy it next month simply to see all of the art they created, and I'm more than okay with that. It is a shame it isn't as good as it looks, though.

@mcsundaeguy: I think the super-imprecise-yet-fast-as-hell way Brad is trucking in the video is half the reason it initially clawed at my patience. At my own pace, I bet I would enjoy it much more.

Actually, I'm just going to buy it and play it right now; kill all my speculation dead.

@frostmute: No, like walking, running, jumping, double-jumping, gliding, dashing, rolling, sliding...

You know. Metroidvania stuff...?

@sethmode: It has started to pique my interest more and more. I've been thinking about this quick look all day, strangely. I've gone from almost belligerent dislike to, "I must know how this plays out."

I've slung it on the wishlist.

Being limited to one type of movement that's only viable on one type of surface and having to do it over, and over, and over, and over [...] and over again, seems astoundingly tedious/borderline psychosis-inducing. It's like someone refined the egg-throwing mechanic from Yoshi's Island and turned it into a game in itself.

I have no run button, therefore I must run.

If it was merely a mechanic of the platforming -- i.e. if every other room required you to use that sort of sniping movement to quickly navigate a more puzzle-like environment -- I would be all over it, because the design of it is pretty sick. Maybe it's a game that's harder to watch than it is to play?

Jeff: Were there any pieces of tech you impulse-bought, or techy fads you went all-in on, that people mocked you for? Were they right?

Also, when was this picture of you taken?

Abby looked so radiant this stream! I swooned.

Rorie as a dog is always gold, but this is how I will see him from now on at all times.

When they were creating Jeff B, I thought to myself that he looked a bit like Brent Hinds, then noticed his Mastodon hoodie. He got that Celtic warrior nose and fiery hair.
