Yeah, I'm not a fan of people who speak about things as if they know the whole situation, especially strangers, but asking questions and polite speculation is natural. You feel connected to online personalities so much sometimes, it's hard not to wonder or discuss certain things.

@bisonhero: I wasn't reading super-hard into it, but I am pretty sensitive to awkward questions, so I bet that didn't help steer my thoughts away from the, "Well that was a bit weird..." ditch I found myself in. I felt some slight holding back on the subject, but it wasn't something I found dramatic or that I needed to address, it was something I worried about, because I'd feel shitty if I think someone might have had a less-than-ideal experience with an aspect of the site I've enjoyed so much. That's me, though, always been like that. I worry.

I have no issue about the lack of elaboration; I may have responded similarly to the questions thrown Abby's way. Pressuring yourself by reading comments both positive and negative about you can be very self-destructive. I just really hope overall it was a positive thing!

The only thing that bothers me is when I open it up every couple months and see a dozen games I planned to buy just there to play. That is a great deal of money I saved in a flash, but...I feel like shit. I don't understand how I can be supporting the devs and the hard work they put in for years by devouring content in this way, because I lack the knowledge to work out how much money devs make having their games available day 1 or week 1 or month 1, whatever, on XGP. Finishing a dozen very recent games for $10 almost feels like stealing when most of them cost that much or usually more to buy individually.

I can easily afford to support them the way I want, buying a bunch of games every month the old fashioned way, and finishing them over the next few weeks 'til I do the same next month with a new bunch of games. Game pass is just so attractive, it's tricky to resist the value sometimes.

Escaped twice in a row on my 15th and 16th attempts, what an amazing feeling. This has become yet another brilliant Supergiant classic in my heart. Great game.

I love the aegis shield, it's my go-to at the moment. The +500% damage upgrade on the charge attack, attacks hit twice upgrade, Artemis' cast levelled 'til the damage crit is ridiculous, the Athena dash deflect, and the Artemis boon where you release an auto arrow after every attack usually makes me highly likely to escape. I can usually get to the last boss with all my 'lives' using that loudout, which helps massively ofc. The Dionysus Call might be my favourite, not so keen on the others.

Now I'm collecting diamonds and improving my relationships with everyone. Maxed out my relationship with Charon MEGA early, maybe my 15th run also? expecting it to give me a big discount or something. I don't think it's had much of an effect? Something happened when I did something in his 'shop' a couple runs later which I successfully got through, but I'm not sure if our close bond triggered it or it always happens?

I could see them releasing a new add-on for $20-25 every six months or something, sure. I suspect it's going to be 3 + 4 as one seperate release next year, though, then THUG 1 + 2 after that. Doubt they'll touch American Wasteland, Project 8 or Proving Ground but who knows.

Maybe there'll be lots of options: standalones, add-ons, but there's gotta be a disc version, surely, then an ultimate collection at some point.

I think all the games will sell very decently indeed. This one has cracked a million already I think, so I'm sure we'll see 3 through to THUG 2 released with this level of treatment.

@skullomania: he's quite brown in some scenes, that's where the confusion was, and the character/person is def non-white historically, but it's probably a whitewash, yeah.

Does El Shaddai count, or is that rendition of Enoch basically whitewashed? I am finding it a little tricky to pin down.
