Anyone know what the first game is called?

@notnert427: The best part of games for me is the escaping reality part of it. I agree hope I never lose the imagination while playing games, creating my own narrative in my head while I play.

@ohagan: I was pretty surprised at how quickly she would remember which button was which.

@ripelivejam:I totally agree it would be really cool if she picks up on it. I would love to have that shared hobby with her. I think its just human nature to want people to think the stuff you do is cool. There has been many of times I wished my wife had or just saw the same passion I have. But, as the years have gone by I have realized the closest I will ever get her to playing games is watching Quick looks and other GB content.

@lestephan: It is crazy how some of those memories can stick around so clearly.

@dgtlty: Do we really stand any chance of Minecraft? I have thought about this as well when I have my own kids. I want them to want to game, not me make them. These stories are some of my favorite on the bombast and beast cast.

I also read heavily and listen to an insane amount of podcasts. I agree I always look at huge RPGs or open world games and think I would love that but end up being overwhelmed by the time contentment.
