It's not much, but it's every game I want for the system, and their all mine now! I just purchased a large chunk of games, completing my collection. My first wantlist completed for an entire system that wasn't a dedicated console:

  1. Bust-A-Move Pocket
  2. Dark Arms: Beast Buster 1999
  3. Fatal Fury: First Contact
  4. King of Fighters: R-2
  5. Metal Slug: 1st Mission
  6. Metal Slug: 2nd Mission
  7. Pac-Man
  8. Samurai Shodown! 2: Pocket Fighting Series
  9. SNK vs. Capcom: Match of the Millennium
  10. Sonic Pocket Adventure

For those of you wondering: I don't have Samurai Shodown 1 or King of Fighters: R-1 because they're far too expensive, and I'm not THAT big of a fighting game fan. So I have no interest in them.

Any Good Places in Eureka/Arcata CA to Get Classic Games? Or any good arcades? How about comic shops?

Me and the wife are spending a weekend there in June.

Check this out:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vxW2yUEEZwA&feature=g-all-u

Highlights:

-New physics and graphics engine

-"Lock-On" Technology

-Free extra PLAYABLE content if you own both episodes, which is supposed to tie into Sonic CD.

-Releasing for Multiple Devices & Consoles with Online Play

Sounds great to me so far! I enjoyed the first one, and this one sounds better.

I just got a Neo Geo Pocket Color, and I need some game recommendations.

What I got with it:

-Bust-A-Move Pocket

-Fatal Fury: First Contact

-King of Fighter: R-2

-SNK vs. Capcom: Match of the Millennium

What I plan to get:

-Dark Arms

-Metal Slug 1st Mission

-Metal Slug 2nd Mission

-Samurai Shodown 2

-Sonic Pocket Adventure

Anything else essential that I need for it that I missed? And I don't like card battle games, so please don't recommend those.

Thanks for any help.

I loved my TurboGrafx-16. Bright colorful graphics, a great library of games, and shoot-em ups galore! I loved it until my fat as hell cat sat on the controller cord where it plugs into the system, and broke the controller port, rendering my TG-16 useless. It pisses me off to this day. He could have broken the Genesis, NES, or Playstation; but noooo he chooses the hard to find system to break.

Gamepad for me, easily. I was born and raised on NES, SNES, Genesis, & PS1. And those controllers in particular, are my favorites, along with the oh-so-comfortable Saturn controller.

Right now I'm playing through Neverwinter Nights 2. Atari.com was having a sale on the entire Neverwinter Nights 1 & 2 + Expansions for only $7.50. And for those that don't already have them (I do), the Baldur's Gate Anthology Master Collection (BG 1 & 2 plus all expansions, Icewind Dale 1 & 2, and Planescape Torment) for only $5.

I did already own the physical copy of the original Neverwinter Nights and all of it's expansions, but when I upgraded my computer, Windows 7 rejected it. So this was a cheap solutions PLUS I got NWN 2 and it's expansions! Joy!

I left JRPGs behind after the Dreamcast. Once the last-generation hit, WRPGs were getting big releases and IMO were just so much more enjoyable. The King's Field series I was already a fan of, as well as the Diablo series. But then that generation introduced me to my most loved series, Elder Scrolls via Morrowind on XBox. I also played classics like Jade Empire, Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 1 & 2, Arx Fatalis, Neverwinter Nights, and Marvel Ultimate Alliance among others. Definetly a WRPG guy now vs. a JRPG guy. In the SNES and PS1 days, though, I loved them!

We need more Zelda-clones, GOOD Zelda-clones. The Zelda formula works well, the longevity of the Zelda series and the high-quality of games in it proves this. But more often-than-not Zelda-clones seem to fall flat on their face. Why can't many developers other than Nintendo get this right?

Crystalis on NES stands out for me as one of the greatest Zelda-clones ever made, and when it was released was even better than the original Legend of Zelda (and Link to the Past hadn't been released yet). Unfortunately SNK started spitting out fighting-game after fighting game, and Metal Slug after Metal Slug game and never revisited the oh-so-awesome Crystalis game. (I so want a Crystalis 2, sigh)

I've heard that 3D Dot Heroes on PS3 is pretty good, but sadly I don't have a PS3.
