Super pleasantly surprised that Jeff really likes Nioh. From what I've played it seems like a really smart iteration on the Soul's formula and it's awesome that the refinements made it more palatable to him. I really hope it continues to hold up because it is really impressing me so far ~6 hours in.

Normally I'm totally fine with these fellas fumbling there way through this game and with Dan totally railroading Drew into playing like a "cool guy" (except for repeatedly telling him to C4 the *one* guy he wanted to fulton, WTF), but when you hit a mission like this and start blaming the game for your own shortcomings it starts to get really annoying.

Some of this absolutely comes down to the format in which you are playing. I can understand missing things because you don't want dead air, you're trying to keep things entertaining, whatever. But please realize that you are overlooking or ignoring information that the game is telling you that would make things easier. I think part of this confusion is coming because Drew is expecting that Dan is a trustworthy encyclopedia for this game, considering how many hours he has put into it. But Dan is *not at all* equipped for that task. He consistently gives terrible, terrible advice and throws out misinformation more often than wrestling references.

I love you guys, but almost all of your troubles and frustrations are absolutely your fault, not the game's.

Hey @danryckert! I'm going to hazard a guess that, given your play style, you've probably never used smoke grenades. I just wanted to point out that apart from just creating a visual obstruction, smoke grenades also incapacitate soldiers caught in their field. It doesn't fully knock them out like stun or sleep grenades, but they are rendered immobile and unaware while they have a coughing fit for the duration of the grenade (if they aren't wearing gas masks).

This can be a pretty cheap early game tool for Drew to use if he wants to deal with a crowd non-lethally.

Was really surprised that after all the time Dan has put into this game he had no idea you could hold in RT to overhand toss throwing weapons lol. Oh well! Hopefully he tells him before the next episode they record since I aniticpate a lot of grenades in Drew's future! :D

There were a lot of awesome moments in this one. (Also, man Drew was SO CLOSE to picking up the poop cassette tape right after he went into the porta-potty on the bridge. The icon barely flashed for a second and no one saw it)
