Konami's Metal Warriors (which I just looked up and is running for 65 dollars, sheesh)
Konami's Cybernator
A XBLA version of Battlezone in HD (the 1998 update, not the already present 1980 arcade version)
XBLA version of Sega's Rocket Jockey
Barking Dog Studios' Global Operations
Not so much a remake but Mother 2 (Earthbound) release for the Wii. A reason to actually dust that system off and play it. This probably won't happen however
@SpiralStairs: There was so much more to Earthbound than just the cartridge too. The oversized box including the full game guide, the scratch and sniff cards that all smelled horrible... the game itself was quirky and at times very endearing. Scenes like this from the game stuck with me for some reason, not to mention the music. If you are unaware there was a remix project some time ago and they offer up the fruits of their labor here.
I'm not sure if the game plays solely on nostalgia for me, and the time period in which I played the game, or if it was really a hallmark in game design. Either way I let a friend borrow it when I was in high school and we went our separate ways, and I never saw the game again. It's going for upwards of $100 for just the cart on eBay.
"Spyro, jak and daxter, or the ratchet and clank games, or the crash bandicoot games "
These... Or Metal Gear Solid 1 (No, I DON'T count Twin Snakes as a remake since it was pretty different from the original).
As far as MGS, though, I would really dig keeping the retro gameplay style, but include more weapons, more areas, first-person shooting, and improved controls.
That was a horrible Sypro game; do you mean you want the game to be improved to help you forget about that terrible mess.
Spyro: Year of the Dragon would be MUCH better as far as remakes. Man, I loved that game; the fight against Buzz, the aesthetics, etc. Work on it, Insomniac; buy back your fucking Spyro rights!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'd love to play Deus Ex. The concept behind it is fantastic to me, but it's too outdated for me to be able to appreciate it with the controls and inventory management and so on. It's a shame, really.
Pokemon Red/Blue, but in a more mature style, not like the kiddy way the franchise has gone F Zero X. want an online version of it. Jak 2 and 3 - Wanna play it again in HD Medal of Honor European Assault - Needs more missions and Online.
