Guitar Hero has it hands down for me, it's just got more of my type of music (metal). Both have some pretty amazing songs though. The only real problem I'm seeing is if you buy all of the Rockband and Guitar Hero games like I do, then your seeing a lot of songs that have already been on one game making it to the other. So several of the songs on each playlist I've already played on the other game.
I don't really know much about him other than the fact that my 9 year old son can't stand him because Cliffy B's Gears 3 announcement on Jimmy Fallen got bumped in favor of this Bieber kid, my son loves the shooters, but not the Bieber.
" Did Valve even say theyre going to continue doing PS3 stuff? As far as I know its only Portal 2 right now. "
That's what I was saying, everyone's commenting like Valve announced that all their future games would be on PS3, but they didn't, just Portal 2. As far as Steam goes, all Gabe said was that Portal 2 on PS3 would have Steamworks "support", which just means auto updates and user made content, which is cool and all, but it's not full on Steam like the OP was suggesting. Pretty much the same thing that Epic did with UTIII.
I'm not sure what your source is, but everything I've read states that Portal 2, and only Portal 2, is coming to the PS3. It will have Steamworks cloud support, meaning auto updates, user made content, etc. Pretty much the same level of support that the PS3 version of Unreal Tournament 3 saw. I'm not sure where you read that "Steam" the service and all it's online features were coming to PS3, cause I haven't seen that anywhere (and I've been looking after reading your post).
So I'm gonna say 360 because:
That would have been my answer anyway
So far the only Valve game announced for PS3 is Portal 2
Waaaaaaay back when the first Neverwinter Night's came out I bought it and played the shit out of it for weeks, got really far into the game and then one day I turned my PC on to find out my HDD had crashed and I lost everything :(
I'm hoping that Microsoft is holding out on some killer-app game that appeals more to hardcore gamers like myself because everything I saw from them at E3 left me wanting to play the Playstation Move (which shocked me as I've been singing the praises of project Natal since last E3). None of the games they showed for Kinect interested me in the slightest. So I'm thinking that either: a) They are keeping secret some super bad-ass Kinect games that they'll announce closer to launch, or b) It'll be like Andorski said and Kinect will follow the "slow burn" path of the DS/Wii. After last year's E3 Microsoft had me getting Kinect on day 1, but after this year's E3 I'm not sure if I'll get one at all. I'll have to play it by ear.
