The thing about the cars is that the regulations governing the design of them changes each year. Next year will be a massive change year as V6 Turbos are in (and sound horrible from all accounts).

For the precise restrictions that are applied to the cars here is a link to the FIA tech specs for this season. http://www.formula1.com/inside_f1/rules_and_regulations/technical_regulations/

@chiablo: If you have The Legacy of Rome expansion you can maintain standing armies in CK2.

Welcome to the insanity!

Best thing I can say is play the tutorials. This time around the devs have spent a fair bit of time making them with a person new to the series in mind.

After that play play your first campaign as one of the big nations of the time. Going for England, France or Austria will give you a chance to get to grips with the all the mechanics required to play the game while at the same time, due to their relative strength, offering a more forgiving play experience then say starting out as a historically unlucky one province nation. Might be a good idea for a first play thorough to set the difficulty setting at "easy" too.

@hewitt:

@universalize

UPDATE: They are having a Mod summit in September!!!!

A bit late but I actually got to ask the devs at PAX Aus about modding for RTW 2.

They said they have put a lot more work into the toolset for modders and have been working at better Steam Workshop integration. Also there is meant to be an event for modders later this month. So here is hoping RTW 2 is the most mod friendly of the Total War series.

Oh and I really hope DarthMod comes out of retirement again to work his awesome magic

Bit of a necro post but is anyone playing this on PC? I've finally managed to get some time to play it.
Anyone interested in racing?
