RetroAchievements Wishlist

Games I'd particularly like to see get achievement sets on RetroAchievements.org

You only get so many set requests based on your achievement points on the site, so this seemed like a good way to keep a larger list. PS2 support is here and GameCube/Wii support is seeming inevitable at some point, so those games are on here too.

List items

  • Surprised this wasn't one of the first PS1 games to get a set.

  • I'll be honest, this isn't a great game. I think it had a good foundation and if it was fleshed out with a few more gameplay mechanics and a more complete story mode it could have been solid. I think an achievement set could probably enhance the experience though.

  • Shocked that this game wasn't part of the PS2 rollout honestly.

  • Bust-A-Move is a really weird international name considering A. This isn't a dance machine game and B. Puzzle Bobble was a perfectly good name to begin with.

  • Love the Tenkaichi games, not sure if I ever played the first one but I played the hell out of 2 and 3 on Wii.

  • Alright, Budokai 1 and 2 have sets and 3 is soon to follow so that just leaves the forgotten fourth Budokai game. That's right, there's another one, it's arguably better than 3 and people don't even know it exists.

  • I'm amazed Nintendo hasn't pumped out way more GameCube/Wii re-releases on Switch. Surely the Mario 3D Collection printed money for them?

  • << Pac-Man Arrangement >>

For some reason Pac-Man Arrangement doesn't have it's own game page.

This almost rivals Pac-Man CE DX+ as my favourite Pac-Man game, it's so good. Unfortunately after one successful run you've kind of seen it all.

  • GAME OVER YEEEEEAAAAAAH

  • Okay I genuinely want this one, I think the original Sonic Riders is a really solid game and it's a real shame they drove this series into the ground with a terrible Kinect game.

  • Another video game themed pinball video game!

  • <Space Invaders X/Space Invaders 1999>

The PS1 version of Space Invaders is great, it's got all these cool weapon power ups and boss fights and you can play co-op. There are a ton of different ports of it too, GBA versions seems solid.

  • This game blips in and out of existence in my brain. It's a weird "Street Fighter-like" take on DBZ, more so than the Budokai games, and I've never played it. I bet it's interesting.

  • This game couldn't be more perfect for achievements, it literally has a massive trophy list in game that rewards you with actual trophies you can look at. It's also one of my top games of all time, when this inevitably gets a set one day I'll pour hours and hours into it to get everything.

  • Tekken 5 is essentially covered by the PSP set and Tekken Tag had a HD release on PS3, so Tekken 4 is the one that needs a set most.

  • I just remembered Link has a selfie camera in this game. Incredible.

  • This doesn't have achievements? DOH!

  • So Virtua Fighter Remix has a set now, largely making achievements for this game unnecessary. I still kinda want them though.

  • I never played VF3 and 4, but after trying Evolution I know I missed out. Feels fast and snappy, and the Anniversary version included with the US release is SO cool. The VF1 character skins in Ultimate Showdown are neat but Anniversary is like an actual modernised VF1.

  • Unless I go out of my way to learn how to make achievement sets and do it myself, this one is a massive longshot. It's pretty obscure, but it's a game from my childhood and I still love it. It's essentially one big time-trial-puzzle-platformer too so it's perfect for achievements.

  • This game does not get enough respect, it's still my favourite pinball game.
