What a lovely early year surprise this was. Hi-Fi Rush is distilled gaming to its core, a very enjoyable musical experience that was entertaining from start to finish. I love this game.

Usually I hate mechs, but these mechs go really fast and fire huge guns. Controlling the mechs in this game is buttery smooth, and the spectacle around the huge boss fights is very impressive.
