I'm having the exact same problem , would also love to hear about alternative apps.

So this past week a problem has started for me: Each time I click on a video a get the error message "It seems your device is having trouble keeping up!" and some livestreams such as Grubbsnax kept freezing up every other minute or so and reverting to low quality settings. I'm using chrome and the freezing issue is pretty much only when I'm on GB.

I've resigned myself into thinking that it just won't happen anytime soon.
