Hmm... and here I thought that Dan Ryckert was a gamer but seeing how he struggles with simple controls would suggest otherwise. Guess he's just another one of those C-list "celebrities" chasing fame by portraying themselves as a true gamer.

Being suckage at a classic game and then blaming it on the controls/camera is so cringe.

All jokes aside, I think this is a pretty lackluster remake. The one thing that could really have set this apart from the already existing remaster was implementing the gameplay improvements from Part II. ND didn't do that. 70 dollars for improved visuals is not good enough.

Naughty Dog are maybe starting to think a little too highly of themselves. I hope this will be a humbling experience for them. They are one of my absolute favorite developers but if this remake is a sign of a new ND then I'm not excited about that.

I really hope their next single player game is a completely new IP. I know they are working on a multiplayer Last of Us game as well, so I'm not counting that.

But I want to see ND move away from TLOU now. And I say this as someone that LOVES part I. I have probably beaten that game 4-5 times by now.

But this remake... it's just too much money for "only" better visuals.

Talking tree is the best new character of 2022.

Save Room is a great idea for a puzzle game. Anyone who didn't like the inventory management in RE4 don't know what's good in life!

@dijidiji: Yeah, wasn't sure if I was going to comment about this but I found her reaction to that a little harsh. The mansplaining comment was just not necessary to be honest.

Also, I realize that this can be a very sensitive subject so I'm not going to comment further on it I just need to say one final thing about this: I'm sure the dude meant nothing bad about it. It really seemed like a bit of extra trivia for the audience.

There is unfortunately people out there with a toxic attitude towards the other gender, but automatically going to 'mansplaining' is also toxic... period. Not everything is mansplaining.

Anyway I'm not going to say anything more about that because it will surely be misinterpreted.

I'm sure neither Jess or the dude calling in meant any harm, it just got misinterpreted somehow and it felt wrong not to say anything about it.

Otherwise a good show and hope everyone have a killer weekend.
