Best of 2012
2012 was a busy year for me so I hadn't gotten around to updating the list. However, it's almost 2014 and it's Sunday, so let's do this!

Outstanding. Sleeping Dogs caught me by surprise. I was blown again; the story was top-notch, the environment was immersive, and the combat is hands down THE BEST open world combat available. You owe it to yourself to pick it up and give it a shot. Fantastic.

This could be one of the most well-written games I have ever played. The mechanics are straightforward but the story is emotional. You connect with these characters and you hope when they hope; you cry when they cry. You feel their pain when they lose a loved one. A worthwhile experience and a top-notch showing by Telltale.

I didn't pick this up until 2013, but man what a good purchase. Outstanding game. This game goes back to the roots of the franchise; very satisfying. A bit more linear than the original, it makes up for it with its fantastic set pieces and well-written story. The visuals are mindblowing.
