I couldn't get past the tutorial because of the embarrassing voice acting. I mean I was literally embarrassed at what was coming out of my speakers and didn't want anyone to hear me playing it. I might try muting it and coming back to it at some point, but I think the Warcraft lore puts me off too much to ever really get into it.
Did you notice Joel subconsciously rubbing his watch in the ending cutscene? I thought that was a pretty clear message that he had his daughter in mind as he was lying to Ellie.
Ya'll are crazy. I got more than my money's worth out of it and still hop on with friends at least once a week. Best game this year so far IMO, and am really enjoying how much attention they're giving it with updates months after release.
I mean, their business plan is complete garbage. They're giving away half the game for free, and if you don't like that half, you can wait a week and play the other half when they swap scenarios.
If they wanna break out the text-to-speech stuff to make any money at all, good for them.
It seems the free scenario (Sons and Fathers) right now is completely broken; at least, as of last night. Tasks cannot be completed, and there is no debrief screen (it just goes to the scenario-players chat).
Yeah. I played a good amount of the spy one over the weekend and had a good time, but trying the Sons and Fathers last night seemed totally busted. It's easy to get way too many objectives and items, there's no clear way to fulfill the objectives, and new items don't show up in your inventory if it's "full." They need to hack out like half the items/objectives and just make those few more interesting.
I hate beans and secretly judge anyone who likes beans. If someone is ever like, "Yeah, gimme some more of those beans!" then they're a complete monster.
Ironically, I really like Mexican food though. I'm just careful about what I order.
