Just tested, and I'm still able to re-download The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition on my iPhone, despite there not being a store page for it.

App Store > Updates > Purchased (at the top) > Not on This iPhone (at the top) > scroll to find it and tap the little cloud icon

I'm reading the books at the same time as watching the show and enjoying both. The only thing that I think the show missed out on is in the first episode

where the stealth ships fire torpedos at the Canterbury. In the book they really made it out to be like "oh man these pirates are going to disable the ship with these small explosives and steal all our stuff!" but then when it turns out to be nukes and they totally just vaporize the ship, it's a lot more of an oh shit, what's happening kind of moment. In the show, their reaction was more like firing nukes was an everyday occurrence.

They made up for it with the gauss cannon thing in the forth episode though, which was surprising that they'd show that on TV and was closer to the feeling I got in the books.

Also Avasarala should be cursing a lot fucking more.

Welcome to Colorado!!

Leave more room in front of you, and drive slower, but don't ride your brakes. It may feel counter-intuitive, but you have more traction when your wheels are spinning. Brake gently before a turn if you're going too fast, then do not brake during the turn. You should almost never have to use your brakes on the highway if you're leaving enough room and traffic is staying the sameish speed. You can tell someone is too nervous or doesn't know what they're doing if they're braking a lot on the highway.

Yeah, somethings messed up with the difficulty jump to legendary. From my experience, legendary co-op with a single other human is the absolute worst. I don't know if there's more enemies in co-op, or they do way more damage, or probably a combination, but in the very first mission I was getting mobbed by groups of those crawling prometheans and I just couldn't get rid of enough of them, kept running out of ammo, and even one can kill you incredibly fast.

I tried it again later with 2 other humans on legendary and had a lot less trouble, so I don't know what was going on.

What!? I had no idea it was coming out any time soon. Bah, I need to start following a gaming news website in addition to Giant Bomb because I feel like I keep missing things like this.

I never fact checked it, but doesn't the 1TB Xbox have a SSD and load faster?

Yeah, but a good external drive is also faster and probably cheaper per byte too. Unfortunately load times are not dramatically faster like you might see on a PC going HDD > SDD. A 40 second game bootup might get to just under 30 seconds at best.

The first episode is free on the Starz app on Xbox One right now, even if you don't subscribe to Starz, or any cable for that matter. It was pretty great!

There's just not that much exclusive stuff coming out for PS4 that's not also on PC. For better or worse, Xbox has more titles that require you have that particular hardware. I was going to put more titles than Uncharted, but I honestly couldn't think of anything coming out any time soon that requires a PS4.

That's not true, but I think there is clearly a bias from you considering the OP stated he already decided his PS4 is his main system, and you're questioning that decision.

OP's probably making the right choice. I've just been frustrated with Sony's crappy lineup recently :-\

I'd say go for it. You've got maybe Zelda on the way for Wii U and.... nothing else? Xbox is going to have a lot of great games going forward that the PS4 won't, but there is quite a bit of overlap as has been mentioned. Though honestly, if you have a halfway decent computer for indie games, I don't see the point in having a PS4 at all unless you're way into Uncharted.

This is like saying, I don't see the point in having an Xbox One unless you're way into Gears of War. It completely ignores other titles he may be interested in. Besides, if he had a decent computer, he would also be better off without the Xbox One.
