I just finished the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare campaign. I felt it was positively gut wrenching and one of the best campaigns they have ever produced. I reflected on how poorly the game performed market-wise (at least by Call of Duty standards) and consider myself lucky to have even been recommended the campaign to begin with. Otherwise it likely would have been a great and well crafted story I never got to see.

So, I was wondering, what is one great single player experience you feel may have been overlooked or quickly forgotten? Whether it be due to it being a minor part of the experience, or simply being lost in a flurry of other releases.

I booted up Breath of the Wild today and there is a new quest simply titled "[XENOBLADE CHRONICLES 2]." It was real weird to have that pop up on my screen. Anyways, it turned out to be a quest that I am currently working through.

Is this going to be a common occurrence in Breath of the Wild I wonder? What do you all think of all this? At the very least I just wanted to tell you guys of this crazy weird thing.

@neurogia: I actually totally agree with you here. I just try to keep "Never" as the baseline and then trail off in very few circumstances. I know that sorta conflicts with the "never" idea. Perhaps "pre-order with caution" is better.

Principles for game buying:

1. A great game stays great. Don’t rush solely to be a part of the game-launch conversation.

2. Don’t be afraid of a game having a small playerbase.

3. Full price is only worth it in limited scenarios.

‎4. Renting games is a possibility.

5. Buy games only when you intend to play them in the immediate future. A cheap game that you will never play is still a waste of money.

6. NEVER pre-order.

Suggestions are welcome!

I have just over 5 dollars burning a hole in my Google Play Rewards wallet. I was wondering what mobile games you all have been into lately? Have there been any frequently mentioned on the site that are slipping my mind? Should I just pour my real life dollars into Wiz Khalifa's weed farm?

Anyways, the question is what it is: What mobile games are you playing right now, and what would you suggest?

Just for the sake of contributing, if you don't own the game "Threes" yet you should. You really should.

After watching "What the Fark is Ark?" I thought how great it would be to see a video series in which GBeast tries to unravel a game without any external help. All through exploration and experimentation. Obviously this would work better for some games than others (watching them try and figure out Eve Online may not be the most exciting thing), but I still think it would be pretty fun.

Anyways, this got me thinking about other cool video series ideas. What do you think would be an awesome video feature?

♥️ Thanks everyone. I'll be digging through this info and making a choice. A lot of the insights were plain great as well! Right now I am leaning towards Injustice 2. I'll let y'all know how it turns out!

After watching EVO a while back, my interest in fighting games was piqued. Since, I have discovered the marvelous - deeply scientific - coverage of fighting games on Giant Bomb. Sadly, at this point it feels that fighting games are completely impenetrable to me!

My question for you all is this: What is the best game for people wanting to get into fighting games? Ideally it would have three things: An excellent tutorial or just simple mechanics, an active community to play with, and an entry level price.

What are your thoughts? I would love to get into fighting games, especially after seeing the awesome reception Injustice 2 and Tekken 7 are receiving. They look awesome. Where do I start?
