1. Simply put: a game review and commentary site run by a bunch of cool/chill people

2. Probably some sort of combo of either the Bombcast/Beastcast and UPF. I think those do a great job highlighting the overall feel of Giant Bomb and its personalities, although there are Quick Looks that might be good candidates too.

3. Without a doubt:

It's staggering how loaded the SNES library is with great games. So many favorites:

1. Family Feud (quite possibly the greatest party game ever)
2. Super Mario All-Stars & World (why not condense, right?!)
3. Super Mario world 2: Yoshi's Island
4. Super Metroid
5. Chrono Trigger
6. Unircacers
7. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
8. Final Fantasy III (VI in Japan)
9. Secret of Mana
10. Stunt Face FX
11. Earthbound
12. Actraiser
13. Donkey Kong Country
14. Donkey Kong Country 2
15. Donkey Kong Country 3 (probably excessive to have all three, but they're all wonderful games)
16. Mortal Kombat 2
17. Super Mario Kart
18. Super Punch Out!
19. Tecmo Super Bowl (any one of the three--still can't believe they opted for Tecmo Bowl for NES instead of Super, such a shame)
20. Kirby Superstar
21. The Lost Vikings
22. Aladdin
23. Star Fox
24. Zombies At My Neighbors
25. Super Mario RPG
26. Jurassic Park 2 (one of those random games we had growing up that was surprisingly fun)
27. Earthworm Jim

If it has a multitap to support four players, then this list would not be complete without:
28. WWF Raw
29. Super Bomberman 2
30. NBA Jam: Tournament Edition

I would buy that alone for local four-player Bomberman. Ok maybe not that alone, but that's a huge selling point for me personally.

Apparently all of the envelopes are now out into the wild. Some people had put up the actual light sequences and images on this Wiki, for those interested: http://cah-holiday-bs.wikia.com/wiki/Envelopes

There are (49 * 9) + 56 + (85 * 2) = 667 total lights. Subtract the initial 12 'G' lights (assuming they are a "start" sequence marker and not part of the actual code) = 651, or 5 * 131. Perhaps a sequence of 131 characters long? Not quite sure how to create a character from 5 lights though...I thought it might've been from 2 instead.

@matthewglidden: The color/letter association makes so much since. Also, if we go with that and assume a 6 color code that includes blue and purple on the lights...check out the clusterfuck panel on the site. Does that purple symbol of two people intertwined look like any particular letter to you? Maybe purple=Y

Also, not sure if this is going too far, but just in case any thing comes up later, check out the storm trooper in one of the video panels. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1138_(number)#George_Lucas_and_Lucasfilm <--Maybe?

I had that exact same thought about the 'Y' on the card as well!

Actually got 3 and 5 yesterday!

What's interesting is the first light bulb (if you go around clockwise on each envelope, starting in the top right corner) is always green. Maybe this is some sort of "sync" mark between all of them? It must be that ALL of the envelopes are needed in order to decode something, since the paper also says that the "puzzle is hidden across all 12 days of gifts." Perhaps it's first light bulb on envelope 1 (the one right after green), first light bulb on envelope 2, etc.

Just received 4 yesterday, and am now up to 3 total (1, 3, and 4). Some thoughts:

EDIT: Awesome. Apparently my spoiler-tagged thoughts didn't even get posted...let me try this again...

I've got to believe that the lights on the envelopes are heavily involved in the puzzle solution. Having them say "do not throw away anything we send you" would lend itself more towards the envelopes instead of the contents inside. There are five lights: blue, green, purple, red, yellow, and maybe letters are built in combinations of two lights? That would result in 25 combinations, and then they just threw out 'Z', 'X', or 'Q'.

The first three envelopes have 49 lights each, and then 56...and then one has 85 (6 geese)?

I don't think the pictures are necessarily part of the puzzle, since they're merely direct humorous representations from the song.
