Starcraft 2 is still going strong. The proliferation of League of Legends has caused it to lose a lot of popularity in Korea, but there is still a strong interest in it.

The single-player is a lot of fun, just ignore everything plot related (the story is as bad as Diablo 3's). The actual missions are interesting and there is a huge amount of variety. The single player alone is worth the price of admission.

Multiplayer is a mixed bag of frustration and fun... I loved multiplayer Starcraft with Wings of Liberty, but I feel that the expansion ruined the game. I primarily play Zerg, and the Terran's Spider Mines have caused me to ragequit so hard that I won't play again: I can't counter it, and my macro isn't good enough to bait an attack.

I'll probably get back into multiplayer up with the next expansion and I'm sure 2v2 with a dedicated partner would be a lot of fun. But there is a reason MOBAs (or ARTS, whatever you want to call them) have taken over the competitive eSports scene. There's something really satisfying about working together as a team that you just can't get with a 1v1 game.

Most people who had problems with the DS3 were ones holding it extremely incorrectly, trying to control it with the middle of their thumbs and raging over how their thumbs smash into each other.

Then came the people with mutated limbs, who favour the Nintendo GameCube layout of sticks and buttons.

If you have to be told how to use a controller because people are having a problem using it properly, then there is something wrong with the layout of that controller.

Would you pick up a controller so early?

Absolutely, I'm more interested in the controller for PC use than I am the console.

I put them together because

#1. In a lot of ways those games are a lot a like. Once Sony got into the mix every Final Fantasy game was its own in almost every way possable

#2. More people have played the later FF games It made more since to me to put 1-6 as one item to give it a fighting chance. And even now when you look up at people's posts they are all saying FFVI when they place a vote for 1-6. That to me tells a lot on it's own

You kids... Just because the graphics of the NES and SNES era Final Fantasy games were similar, they are drastically different in tone and story. Final Fantasy VI (6) is probably the favorite, but I have several friends who insist IV (4) is the best Final Fantasy because of the story. V was the game that introduced the job system, which revolutionized future Final Fantasy games and even RPGs in general.

The NES-era games aren't very notable, but only because of the technical limitations of the system. If you think about it though, you could easily argue that the original Final Fantasy is the most important, because it was the one that started it all.

I think a more interesting study would be to gather everyone's age as well as their favorite Final Fantasy. Turns out that whichever final fantasy came out when you were young is the best one.

Garry is holding up quite well compared to Egoraptor. Great concept and would love to see Brad to do one.

He could do a Hot Pepper review for Brothers: "There won't be 10 peppers better than this Habanero this year."

I think at this point the only thing that would get me to enjoy Assasin's Creed is if Desmond died and they abandoned the whole nonsensical "future" portion of the story. We want to be assasins, not virtual people who live in the head of virtual people.

EgoRaptor's review was hilarious... for the first two minutes, then you just feel really bad for him.
