I think every person I know who still plays CoD never touches the single player so they'll barely notice. I haven't kept up for a while so it doesn't really matter to me.
I've never walked out because I figure since I already paid and went I might as well see it through but also because I'm there with other people and I feel that would be a weird thing to do?
Movies I really struggled to get through are Ready Player One, Benjamin Button and Powder.
When it comes to Netlix or rentals or whatever then who knows? That's way easier to tune out on with your phone or turn off or leave the room.
Didn't have much time to play during college with a brutal schedule of classes and work and fell back into it after graduating. Since I then had more time and money than I had ever had before I got back in HARD.
10 years later I'm now a father and I can end up easily having 3 to 6 month stretches without finding time to play. Even then it's not like I'm getting whole days or anything.
At this point I just want a new one. I'm ready. Maybe some more movement options, some Titanfall stuff with wall running, grappling hooks and such. Some better writing/characters would be nice but whatever it's a Diablo FPS I just want it to keep having fun gameplay.
I don't think I want character creation. I like the Diablo style of picking a class then specing it how you want and pairing it with different kinds of weapons.
This seems fine. I wouldn't expect it to find a huge audience but I bet it plays fine enough and looks like it has some ideas. They just have to hope it finds enough of an audience to populate enough games which I would hesitate to bet on. Good luck to them.
When I saw the name I thought it would be a battle royale game that took place entirely within an enormous skyscraper. That would have been a cool idea. Unlike this.
Just don't forget, you know, it's a podcast. That most listen to. It will be cool to see some of these production bits make their way onto video segments though.
It's just everything other than that isn't good. The combat just plain sucks. The missions are immediately repetitive and boring.
I appreciate that I don't have to worry about my friends having more spare time than me and getting way above my level by the 2nd day, making the game either impossible or boring to play with my friends. But there are other ways to create some kind of goal, something to drive for. At this point you play for a few hours, see a bit of everything and you're done. Just any amount of variety to the missions would do wonders.
Woe to the players who spent $60 on the game and are currently in the justification phase of a game's release.
I saw Limp Bizkit once as a supporting artist to Metallica as part of the Summer Sanitarium Tour 2003 in SF. We took that time to go get some shirts but we could still hear the boos from the crowd for most of their set. At some point we checked in on how the show was going from the stands before heading back down to the field and Fred Durst was playfully screaming at the audience for booing him while waving a airsoft style shotgun in the air and firing off rounds. The audience wasn't playing back. Rough stuff.
