Not sure how many of you have seen the video floating around the internet about a bus full of assholes making 68-year-old bus monitor Karen Klein eventually cry by going on and on about how fat she is for over 10 minutes. The video's below:

To me, this video goes hand-in-hand with the Fat Shaming in America thread that's been on the boards and is utterly disgusting. There's an Indiegogo devoted to Karen that originally had a goal of $5,000 to give her a vacation but is now sitting at over $325,000 and going towards her retirement.

Still, I feel sorry for the poor woman and would like to get your guys' insight on what a just punishment for these kids should be. Obviously, the internet doesn't forget and they're real names and Facebook's have been discovered (I won't bother posting links to them; you can find links to them pretty easily elsewhere), so I'd imagine finding jobs will be next to impossible for these kids and the repercussions will come later when they truly matter.

What say you?

Not to be a dick but, Overkill aren't the people I want to flesh out the L4D-universe. It probably won't be very integral to the franchise in the end though.

You know Valve is involved with it too, right? Their logo pops up within the first 3 seconds in the trailer.

Loved Heavy Rain and what it tried to do so I'm obviously excited to play this.

This is looking like my first Day 1 console purchase ever (mostly because I have money now, but still). I am very impressed with what Nintendo has shown and it looks like a great stopgap to ease the transition from the 360/PS3 to the next-gen consoles. I've always had a special place in my heart for Nintendo consoles, and their first party games are always always always top-notch.

If Nintendo can gain third-party support, which it looks like they should be able to with their Pro Controller, and doesn't charge more than $300 for the hardware, then Nintendo might surprise some people with just how successful they are in the next gen.

Now if only they wised up and allowed for more than one WiiU GamePad per console...

And the Xbox 360 controller ripped off the PlayStation's. I have no problem with the design. Simply put, it's the best design we (currently) have to make a controller. Until then, everyone will use it because a.) I assume it makes developing a multiplatorm game easier and b.) it's super intuitive to use once your get familiar with the design.

I don't. I like using a USB stick shoved into the back of my Xbox. Probably not the best idea since I can't count many USB drives I've had that have broken, but I like to live life on the edge so it's ok.

I'm still astounded when people say "reviewers should give their honest opinions of the game! If they like it, cool, and if not that's cool too!" To me, that is utter garbage and should never be how a game is judged. For example, I can not stand the Fallout or Zelda series in terms of gameplay. However, I realize that isn't conclusive of the quality of the game. Just because I may or may not like a game doesn't mean it's good or bad. If it were up to me, Fallout 3 would have a score in the 40's on Metacritic, but I can also understand that it does things very well. Those things just don't please me the same way they do with others.

Those are my somewhat-related two cents.

I use to work at Gamestop, and while I defend their right to sell used games (in the end, the people trading in the games are agreeing to the prices, and the people buying them are agreeing to their pricing structure so they can't be wrong), your comment about only receiving a shipment or two of a game is just flat out wrong. Sure you named Deadly Premonition, but that game was an "indie" game and the argument could have been made that it should have been $20 on XBLA. Most normal games receive restocking shipments for ~6 months after release.

I buy used games all the time. Hell, I just bought The Darkness for $9 at Gamestop because I'm not spending $70 on Amazon. But out of all the places I could buy a game, Gamestop is my last choice when new because of the prices they offer for trades and the fact that everyone else gives away free gift cards just for buying the game from them, and I'll take free money any day; I haven't paid more than $40 for a game on Day 1 in years, thanks to Amazon, Best Buy and Kmart.
